~TIANA JACOBS' POV~

"Hello?" I answered grogily.

"Hey, gorgeous," Blade's smooth voice rang in my ear and I leaned back against my covers with my eyes closed, missing the sound of his voice.

"It's in the middle of the night," I croaked and he chuckled.

"I know, I'm sorry I disturbed you, but I miss you and I'd just have to deal with the sound of your voice until I see you again." he said softly.

"I miss you too," I said with my eyes starting to close.

Don't get me wrong, I miss my boyfriend to the max, but sleep is pretty important to me; if that wasn't obvious enough yet.

Sleep is something we Jacobs love. It's a thing that runs in the family.

Blade's voice brought me back to the fact that I was on the phone with him. "Go get your sleep, I got to hear your voice now, I'm a lot better." he said and I smiled at the thought of it.

"Hmmm, I love you." I muttered and he chuckled.

"I love you too, sweetheart, I'll see you soon." he said and that was all it took for me to fall back against my pillows and sleep.

I groaned in pain as something fell on the lower part of my stomach; it felt like someone was cutting my stomach open and shoving bricks into it.

I opened my eyes and I grumbled at the sight of my baby brother bouncing on my stomach. "Tris, get off," I muttered and I shoved a pillow on my face, willing sleep to consume me once more.

I heard Tristan giggle and he decided that the best thing to do then was to lie on me. "Wakey, wakey!" he cooed. "She said you hafta wake up!"

I grumbled, "Who?"

"Gramma," he said and I knew he was talking about Grams. "Hafta go get ready," Tris said, licking my face.

"You gotta stop hanging out with Red, big guy." I said as I rolled over, making Tristan roll over the other way since he was on top of me. He flipped over on his stomach and leaned his jaw on the palm of his hands, looking at me with those big brown eyes of his.

"But he told me he likes me!" he protested with a pout.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet my baby brother, the dog whisperer.

Tristan waited for me to finish showering and he played Angry Birds on my phone. I got out of the shower and I was getting changed when I caught sight of my brother furrowing his eyebrows at the game he was playing.

Mum adopted Tristan from the orphanage when I was thirteen and I fell in love with him as a baby. I watched him grow and I was always around as he was growing up. We never told Tristan he was adopted - he always knew that he was a part of our family and we didn't want him to know the truth at such a young age.

He saw the similarities between the three of us. He had the same light brown hair like we all did, but his eyes were pure beauty.

I don't know anyone who has grey and brown eyes until I met Tristan. His left eye was grey and his right was light brown - something that wasn't very common.

Tristan jumped on the bed and the sight of him snapped me out of my thoughts. "Tee, I'm hungry." he said and I laughed, going into the en suite and placing my towel on the rack. I went over to Tristan and carried him, placing him on my hip and I walked out of the room I was using.

"What'd ya want for breakfast?" I asked him and he seemed in thought for a moment.

He face brightened as though he had just thought of the most genius thing. "Can we eat peanut butter and jelly sandwich?" he asked me and I grinned.

"Sure thing, bud!" I said and I placed him on the island as I took the peanut butter from the cabinet and the jam from the fridge. I placed the bread in the toaster and I prepared our breakfast. I cut the hard edges for Tris and I sat next to him as we wolfed down our simple breakfast.

Mum and Dad walked into the kitchen and smiled at the sight of us. "Hi!" Tristan greeted them.

"Morning, sweethearts!" Mum greeted him and kissed his cheeks and she did the same for me. "Honey, Liam is going to have to get himself a tuxedo for the party tonight, do you want to go with him to get a dress or do you want me to get your grandmother to find one for you?" she asked me.

"Eh, let's just wing it," I shrugged and she nodded.

An hour later, I was standing in my Grandmother's wedding dress that was older than my siblings and I combined.

And let me just say that oh my God, this is not the dress I want to parade around in a high class party.

I may have issues with black tie events, but I sure won't go around looking like the envisioned virgin offering to Dracula. I reject the idea.

I'm not into blood sucking ancient guys who have sharp canines. That just won't do.

I got changed and Grams looked like she was about to laugh at the image of me now tattooed on her mind. "I'm going out to buy a dress." I muttered and Grams told me to hold up and she passed me a Black card. "Can I buy a car with this?" I asked her and she laughed, nodding.

"You can get whatever you want, darling," she grinned.

"Yeah, you should buy yourself a boyfriend," my cousin scoffed and wow, I can't believe I forgot about the abominable creature who was standing by the door.

"Should I let you use it instead? I mean, you look like you need to buy a new face." I smiled sweetly at her and I turned to Grams."I'm gonna be back in a jiffy," I grinned and she nodded.

"Who says 'jiffy' anymore?" Candice - the abominable creature - mocked from where she stood.

"Not you, obviously. We all know you vocabulary's limited. Remind me when your birthday is again, I'll get you a dictionary." I said and I walked out of the room, heading over to Dad's car and driving to the boutique's I saw when we drove up to the hill where the Jacobs' mansion was located.

I smiled at the thought of Candice's shocked face as I drove. We went home to the mansion and she arrived a few days after Grams was discharged. She immediately threw a fit about how tired she is and that no one was paying attention to her needs that even Grams rolled her eyes at how childish her grandchild was behaving.

She was also always giving me the once over because I never saw the need to wear heels inside the mansion.

In short, she was the missing chick in Lindsey's clique - I had no doubt they would get along.

I got out of my car, determined to get the dress I was going to wear for tonight and I focused on that instead of Candice.

I went around the boutique's and tried on the first dress that managed to catch my eye - yay for Julianne's dress lessons! I bought the turqouise gown that was one shouldered and the strap had sequins sewn on it.

Content with my dress, I drove home, giving himself a pep talk about how it was alright for me to be thrown into the hectic preparation everyone was doing.

But bloody hell, it was six hours to the party, I don't know why they see the need to scrub their body for an hour just to get rid of the dirt.

Did ya'll go on a muddy adventure with freaking Dora the Explorer?
