I continued on dressing up despite of her request. Hell, what is it with virgins? They're always clingy. They don't really know what a one night stand means.
She hugged me from behind. I could feel that she's still naked. Tinanggal ko ang kamay niyang naglalakbay pababa ng katawan ko.
"Zen, I have to go," naiirita kong sabi at hinarap siya. She's smiling sweetly.
"Can't we cuddle first?"
"No."
She frowned. "Why? I thought you like me? That's what you said earlier."
"Yeah, I like you. That's why I brought you here. That's all," sagot ko at tumalikod na para lumabas. I heard her cry but I don't care. This should work this way. No attachments and false hopes.
I drove my way home. Home. It's so funny. Our house is not even a home anymore. Everything has changed when Daddy didn't accept who my Kuya Richard is.
Now he's gone and we don't know where he is anymore. At ang hindi ko matanggap ay walang balak hanapin ni Daddy kung nasaan man si Kuya.
He's a sinner. He disgusts me. Iyon ang palagi niyang sinasabi na mas lalo pang nagpalalim ng galit ko sa kanya. At dahil sa nangyari kay Kuya, naging magulo na ang pamilya namin. Mommy got sick. Remelly is in rehab due to alcohol addiction. Joella got pregnant but the life of her baby has ended before it even started. Nakunan siya dahil sa stress sa pamilya namin at dahil hindi rin tanggap ni Daddy ang boyfriend ng kapatid ko.
And me, I'm lost again, because I don't have Haley by my side.
Simula nang magkagulo ang buhay namin ay hindi na ako naniwalang may Diyos. Pinaramdam lang noon ni Haley na mayroon, pero guni-guni lang pala iyon. Dahil kung mayroong Diyos, bakit nangyayari sa aming lahat ito?
Dumerecho agad ako sa kwarto ko. I hate it when I still go home in this empty mansion. Empty because despite of the people inside here, there is no love.
I miss home. I miss being home.
I checked the time. It's 2 o'clock in the morning. Tanghali ngayon sa Pilipinas. I turned on my laptop and logged-in my Skype account. I immediately called my cousin.
"Sab," sabi ko nang nag-display na siya sa screen.
"Hey," sagot niya. "Sorry, I just got out of the shower."
Tumango lang ako. Pansin ko iyon dahil naka-robe pa ang pinsan ko at basa ang mahaba niyang buhok.
"Any news?"
"Wala pa rin eh."
Bumagsak ang balikat ko. Simula nang malaman naming tumakas si Kuya sa kumbento ay hindi na namin alam kung nasaan siya. But then, I have a feeling that he's just in the Philippines. That's why I asked Sabinna and Terrence to help me out.
Pero wala parin silang nahahanap.
"But..."
"Ano?" sagot ko agad sa idinugtong niya. She heaved a sigh.
"Ang sabi ng private investigator kahapon, possible daw na si Kuya Richard daw iyong nakita nila sa Iloilo."
"Really?" Napaayos ako ng upo at inayos ko pa ang earphones ko para marinig ang susunod na sasabihin ni Sabinna. "Then?"
"Then..." she trailed off. It's like it was so hard for her to say it. Kumunot ang noo ko.
"Then Kuya Terrence said it was not Kuya Richard. So pumunta si Kuya sa Iloilo just to see him."
