Lilly's an amazing YouTuber, but this fanfiction isn't about her.

This video, though 10 minutes long, is completely worth watching.  I'm thinking that all facets of the human brain are going to be interpreted here.

People change. People think differently. People doubt themselves. We have to remember all the people we find online have these issues as well.

Simon's POV

It was the first day of school. I was prepared to stay invisible. My older brother brought us, since I was only 14, so I couldn't drive.

When we got there, I got out of the car and headed straight for my homeroom. Everyone else was waiting outside, talking to their friends. Not me. I had no one to go to.

As I moved, I saw a group of six boys. They amazed and confused me. These boys weren't popular, but they were all quite sporty. They were all starters on the football team but one, but they also were hardcore gamers. A mixture of both sides: nerdy and jocks.

They had never noticed me.

"Simon Minter!" my English teacher exclaimed, "so great to see you again."

"Nice to see you to, Miss Smith," I responded politely, and headed to my seat.

I stayed quiet as the rest of the class shuffled in. None of them noticed me.

"Welcome to Year 10,"(I hope I got that right, correct me if I'm wrong) Miss Smith growled at the class, "behave, or there will be consequences."

One of the six boys, Harry, laughed.

Smith glared at him.

"What consequences?" Harry grinned, loving to push Miss Smith.

"Why can't any of you be polite, like Simon here?" She pointed at me.

I shrunk into my chair.

"Who's Simon?" JJ, another boy, asked.

The class laughed.

My eyes started to fog. I had been in the same class with JJ for quite a while. I wish he knew who I was.

I looked around, everyone was looking at me with odd faces. I was the teacher's pet.

"Who did the Summer homework?"

No one raised their hands. I did it, but I was afraid to raise mine. They would make fun of me, going from unknown to bullied in five seconds.

"Simon?" I shook my head, blushing madly, "I'm disappointed, Minter."

~~~
Maths class wasn't much better. Mr. Copper was quite laid back.
"What are you guys doing this afternoon?" He asked us, he was all about trying to make me talk in class, "Simon, how about you?"
"Um... homework," everyone sniggered, "and football."
"He plays football?" Harry grumbled to Ethan.
"Really," Mr. Copper became interested, "do you play for a team?"
"I did a couple years ago, but I got out of the loop. Now I just play with the goal in my backyard."
"That's great, Simon. Now what are you doing JJ?"
"I'm moving this afternoon, quite fun," he rolled his eyes, not seeming like he wanted to.
"Where exactly?"
"Saints Street."
Saints Street. I live on a Saints Street. He must be moving to another Saints Street. Definitely not mine, of all places. I thought.
