Twenty Nine

Simon's POV (less point of view changes now... sorry for all of that)

Ethan came knocking at my door a hour later. Feeling obligated, I let him in. He saw the wet stains on my cheeks.

"Oh Simon," he started to approach me and I waved him off.

"I didn't mean for that to happen. Nothing even happened," I muttered, "he probably thinks I'm a freak now."

"Who? JJ?" Ethan asked, his eyes darting around my room, "no. No way."

"He knows I'm gay now," I bowed my head, ashamed. Ethan came and sat next to me on the ground, lifting my head up.

"Mate. Don't be ashamed of being who you are. First of all, it isn't your fault, and second, there was no problem with it in the first place! JJ may be a bit strange, but in no way he's a homophobe," Ethan sucked in his cheeks, seeming to ponder a thought for a second, then sweeping it away, "absolutely no way."

I nodded and smiled somberly. All that remained for a moment was our breathing. Ethan seemed to think again, then started to speak.

"There might be something I need to tell you..."

One hour earlier, JJ and Ethan (POV CHANGES TO ETHAN JUST SHUT UP IK IK IK I LIED)

JJ was near sobbing. I needed to fix it. Trying to console him, I gave him an awkward hug from behind. It feels I had been doing that a whole lot lately.

"Oh my God," he muttered, "arse."

"Who?"

"Cal. I can't deal with this anymore. I thought I could, I really did," JJ started to plow off into nowhere.

"What are you on about?"

"I'm gay. Alright? There, I'm gay. I just want Cal to leave. He just needs to go away."

I tried to nod a bit, but I was in shock. Simon... JJ... Callum.... My throat went dry.

"You know what, I'll just leave," JJ started to turn towards the door.

"I can talk to Simon for you," I said, but he shook his head.

"It may be a bit too late for that, Ethan," he slammed the door behind him.

And back to bae (Bruh it's Simon duh)

I shook my head in disbelief as Ethan told me about his conversation with JJ.

"Does he actually like me?" I gaped a bit. Ethan gave a nod. I felt like a little child, feeling so happy over a crush. It was well worth it, though. I was elated.
