Tobi gave me a confused look. I coughed a bit.

"Well," Ethan mumbled into the straw of his soda, "it's a bit of a story."

"To be honest, I don't think we have time for this explanation," I stand up and drag Ethan behind me. Tobi trails and we head into the bathroom.

I slightly crack open the door, peering in. JJ and Cal are standing there, glaring at each other.

"Bruv you can't just do this," JJ shouted. Cal kept his stance.

"You stole him from me!"

"Stole? He was your school crush, Callum," JJ shook his head, "he's my boyfriend." My heart leaped when he said that, and I slipped on the door, causing Ethan, Tobi, and I to all fall into the bathroom.

They both jump back.

"What the hell?" Cal screamed.

"This needs to stop," Tobi leaped up and took charge, "are you seriously fighting over a boy? And second, why is JJ fighting over a guy? He's the least gay guy I know!"

We all stared in silence. Then, JJ started to laugh.

"No."

"What?" Tobi asked.

"No way I'm straight. "

Cal leaned against the sink counter and rubbed his forehead, "I'm sorry I've caused trouble."

"You definitely will be," JJ growled.

"Can I just leave?" he asked, his hands in the air.

"You have no car to take!" Tobi exclaimed. Cal shrugged, and started to leave the room.

"I'm not done with you!" JJ shouted, and raised his fist. I grabbed it and put it at his side. It had been a long time since I saw this side of Jide. Not just the anger, but the jealously.

"I won't leave you, JJ," I breathe into his ear.

Tobi went to go pay the bill. It wasn't like we were in the mood for dinner anymore. I couldn't speak for anyone else, but I definitely had lost my appetite. We headed for the car, and I wondered where Cal went.

"I kinda feel bad from Cal," I say, not to anyone specifically.

JJ choked on his words, "what?"

"No! I mean," I paused. That wasn't the best thing to say around JJ, "he just wants to be with someone."

"Simon, he wants to be with you," JJ sighed.

"But I'm with you, and you get that, right? I'd never leave, Jide," I said, full heartedly.

"Really?" He asked, his voice flowing with hope. I nod, smiling. Jide grinned, "I'll hold you to that, alright?"
