JJ's POV
I eyed him as he dragged Simon out the door. Maybe it was my imagination, but I was pretty sure Simon was staring at me. I looked away, shaking it from my head. Cal took Simon. I didn't even think he was gay. He was just like all of my other friends.
"Hey Jide!" Ethan grinned. He must have just taken a shower, since his hair was dripping. I gave him a slight wave. Ethan cocked his head a bit, seeing I wasn't being the ecstatic, insane JJ I usually was.
Damn it. I knew he was good at reading expressions.
"What's up," he asked. I just shook my head, "whatever it is, I've been through the craziest stuff this week. Nothing would surprise me."
Ha. Sure. Telling him I was gay would definitely surprise him.
But no. I couldn't. Ethan was the most trustworthy man I knew, but I just couldn't bring myself to it, yet. It had been pent up all inside me since I was thirteen. My stomach was threatening to barf all of my secrets out.
"I'm all good, Ethan," I said, my voice keen. He gave me an unsure look for a second, but didn't press any further.

Simon's POV
We headed out into the depths into the city to a camera store Cal said he loved. I was just going to go with whatever he said.
I looked around the large room, filled with cameras and all sorts of high tech equipment. I started to understand why Cal liked the place. He speed around the place, knowing where everything was, and picking up at least ten items.
"Is this okay?" Cal asked. I shook my head in astonishment.
"That's going to be expensive," I said sadly, "I don't know if I can buy all of that."
Cal laughed a bit, "I can help you if you'd like."
That embarrassed me a whole lot. I couldn't let him help me? It made me realize that these guys had a lot of money to space, and I had none to use. He saw the embarrassment in my eyes.
"Simon, it's fine. I know you just got out of college. How about this stuff be a present to you?"
"Can I at least pay it off later?" I asked sheepishly.
"If you must, you can pay a quarter of it. Nothing more," he sighed. I could deal with that.
"Thank you, Cal," I said.
He had it rung up at the counter, and gave the cashier his card, "no problem."
We headed back to the loft, where we entered to a whole lot of screaming coming from the kitchen. I ran in, finding Ethan and JJ recording. Ethan was sitting on a chair with egg yolks and unidentifiable white liquid running down his face. JJ had an evil look, and started to yell some more.
"Have the neighbours ever complained to the front desk?" I asked Ethan, who started to giggle loudly.
"Hmm, let's see," he looked up, and counted his fingers, "one.. two... five.... six! Six times."
Cal and I laughed with disbelief.
"Are you serious?" I gasped between laughs.
"They can't be judging me," Ethan shrugged, flicking a piece of eggshell at JJ, "their baby screams almost as much as me."
JJ gets close to Ethan's face and growled, "why are you screaming, Behz? Are you screaming at the little children in your room?"
"I'll leave that to Vikk. And mate, your breath stinks like rotten eggs," he plugs his nose.
"BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I'M THROWING AT YOU!" JJ started to roar, until there was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it!" Ethan started to stand up and waddle over to the door, egg and... milk? I presumed were dripping in his wake.
"Ethan...." I sighed. He opened the door to find an angry looking lady wearing a bathrobe.
"I'm reporting you!" She shouted, staring in shook at his eggy attire.
"Okay! Bye!" Ethan smiled nicely, and slammed the door on her, "that's the one!" He said cheerfully. Cal started to choke.
"Okay we're getting you side tracked," Cal says, "I'm helping out Simon put together his filming set."
"Have fun!" Ethan waved. JJ just stared.
We walked down the hallway to my room, and Cal put down all of the items we had bought.
"Whew. Are you ready to do this?" He asked.
I shook my head, knowing I probably had no idea to use any of the equipment he got. One by one, he took each thing out and showed me what it was, what it did, and how to use it. It probably took us near a two hours to finish, but it made me feel good that by the time we were done, JJ was still pelting food at Ethan.
I looked at the masterpiece we had made. The camera sat on its tripod facing my bed, and I had a microphone lighting setup as well.
"Thank you Cal," I pulled him in to a large hug.
As we let go, he stared at me, bringing his face towards mine.
Not again. Not again. Not again.
"Hey Simon, I was wondering if-" JJ walked in. He stared with a look of horror, and I instinctively pulled away.
"Jide! It's not what you think!" I said, trying to explain what had happened.
"To hell it's not," JJ turned away, and stormed out the room. His words had never stung so much.
