JJ decided to come back to the flat with us, and Ethan headed upstairs with Tobi. I sat at my desk and went through my Twitter feed, smiling at all the nice things people said. JJ laid on my bed, talking to me.
"So, are you going to get off Twitter?" he groaned, and I turned around, smiling.
"NEVER," I shout.
"Oh no! What am I going to do!" JJ mockingly exclaimed, gasping.
"You're going to wait a minute," I said, liking tweets and commenting on them. He came over to me and rested his head on my shoulder, pulling my face towards his with his hand. I glanced back at the screen, "Jide, wait."
@ Calfreezy: Words of advice- don't let others take the cake you want. if you want that damn cake, take it.
I shook my head, disappointed. All my respect flew out the window.
Cal's POV
I shuffled along the boardwalk. My tweet had sent a few minutes ago, and I really couldn't see why I did it. Maybe it was of pure anger, or hope that Simon would see it. If he did, he would probably be as angry as I was at that moment.
"Oh my God," I slap myself, "I'm such an idiot!"
Quickly, I pull out my phone and delete the tweet. I felt like my phone was a hot stone, and I chucked it out of my hand and into the sea. For a few moments afterword, I felt relief. There was no way he could've seen it, right? Or maybe he could've.
I dropped to the ground angrily. Holding my head in my arms. When before this had I ever been this rash?
My memory flicked back to the sudden kiss with Simon, running out into the street. The truck's wheels screeching. A bright light. Blinding pain.

I woke up in a white room, feeling a bit crusty. Groaning a bit, I stretched. What had happened? A voice from behind a curtain began to speak.
"Of course, Mrs. Airey. We can get him fitted for a prosthetic as soon as we possibly can."
An unusual fear welled increasingly in my stomach. Prosthetic? I search my body for any issues. Arms okay, all my fingers were there. I was pretty sure my ears and head were intact. Then, I pull away the bedsheets. A squeak came from my throat. A stump protruded from my thigh. A scream was let out. I didn't stop it, and the fear came straight out of my stomach all over the bed.
~~~
I shuddered a bit, wiping my wet face, realizing tears were falling down my cheeks. Slowly, I pushed myself off the ground, and took a few steps, staring at the skyline a bit dizzily. It was a pretty amazing view. The London Stadium lit up in the forefront, and our flat building right next to it. The river still and shining with the lights laying in front of me. I started to walk back to the building, and thinking all the way back one thought.
I wish Simon could share the view with me.
