I wake up in the morning and quickly get out of bed. I change into different clothes then throw my leather jacket on. I walk out of my apartment and knock on the door of Cal's. He opens it then looks down at me.
"How're you doing?" I ask.
"I'm good," he replies, closing the door behind him.
We walk to our cars and drive to the factory. I only see a handful some walking around, including Sam, Axel, a commander, Stacy, and Tristan. Cal lets out an elephant groan when Tristan walks up to me. I nudge him in the side.
"Hey, Tristan," I greet.
"Hey, Morgan," he replies before turning to Cal with narrowed eyes. "Cal."
Cal returns his look.
"Tristan," he returns.
That's so sweet. They're actually trying to not fight with each other.
"What do you want?" Cal asks.
"Nothing that you consist of," Tristan replies. "Just Morgan."
Cal was silent for a moment.
"Thank the gods!" he finally exclaims.
"What?" I ask.
"My powers!" he explains. "They're finally back! So, I have to say this. Tristan, she's mine and what in the name of Zeus is wrong with you?"
Tristan raises an eyebrow.
"Never mind," Cal says. "I have to go wash in holy water."
At that, he walks away. I look back at Tristan.
"What does he mean?" Tristan asks.
"Cal's a mind reader," I state simply. "He can also put people under mind control. What were you thinking, anyway?"
"I don't know what he was talking about," Tristan replies.
He quickly walks away. I raise an eyebrow at him then shrug my shoulders. I go to one of the training rooms and turn on a hologram. I fight it for awhile until other people start coming in.
I leave and decide to kinda just walk around. I've got nothing else to do. I go to the cafeteria area and grab an apple. I'm so bored. Tristan has to go train, Cal is probably off gallivanting around with Sam Zeus knows where.
Bella and I haven't really been on the best of terms when I didn't talk to her for a month because of picking up new soldiers and the last monster. She's mad at me for that, protecting the world, but I don't understand why.
I was fighting a freaking monster and putting an army together. I couldn't spend all my time with her. I jump when I hear a voice come from behind me.
"Hey, Morgan," Sam says, sitting down. "Have you seen Cal?"
"Well," I start off. "If he isn't with you, then he's either training, or actually washing himself in holy water."
Sam raises an eyebrow.
"What does that mean?" he asks.
"Cal got his powers back," I explain. "Then he read Tristan's mind, said he needed to wash himself in holy water, and walked off."
"He got his powers back?" Sam asks.
"He didn't tell you?" I ask.
"I haven't seen him all day," Sam replies.
"I thought that he was with you telling you about getting his powers back."
"I wonder where he is," Sam says.
