Tristan's POV

I run after Cal to Morgan's car. We get there and he unlocks the door. I snatch up the piece of paper and read it.

"Oh, no," I mutter.

"What is it?" Cal demands.

I read till the end.

"Oh, no!" I say louder.

"What?" Cal snarls.

"It says here," I begin. "So you've found this. That means you looked for the godling. She's with me. They say in things like this, don't worry. But you should worry. I am going to torture her to her death. There's nothing that can stop me. By the time you find this, I would have already started.

       Be afraid,
         Avail Firi. Who's that?"

"I have no idea," Cal responds, grabbing the note. "This is not good..."

"No kidding!" I say. "What if she's already been tortured to her brink? What if she's dead!? What if-"

"Tristan, shut up!" Cal cuts me off, his eyes still on the note. "You are not helping."

I sigh then start to pace.

"We have to tell Trauno," Cal says, walking away from the car.

I follow him. Once we get to the door, we run into Trauno's office.

"What's wrong?" she asks.

"We found a note in Morgan's car," Cal says.

He gives her the note and her eyes scan over it.

"Avail Firi..." she murmurs.

"Do you know who that is?" Cal asks.

"I've heard of him," she replies. "He's like a brother of Zeus no one ever knew about. He hasn't been seen in a hundred years. And if he took Morgan... Then she's in horrible trouble."

"We have to find her," I say. "She could be being tutored right now, or-"

"Tristan, calm down," Trauno cuts off.

I can't be in here right now. After flashbacks, my sensitivity and emotions spike and it never ends well if people... Be people. I hate people... The word even makes me sick to my stomach sometimes.

"I know about Avail Firi," Trauno continues. "I've heard so many stories about him. I will try to think of where he may go. Go ask if anyone saw him."

Cal nods and we both quickly walk out of her office.

"How are you so calm?" I demand once the door closes.

"Calm?" Cal questions. "You think this is calm? I'm having a complete mental break down and killing myself inside cause I wasn't there to protect her. And on top of all of that, I'm furious. I'm going to kill that bastard Avail Firi."

"If we can find him, I'll help you," I growl.

"If we're supposed to ask people if they've seen him," Cal says. "We don't even know what he looks like."

"Creepy guy who wasn't supposed to be here," I reply seriously.

"Good enough. Okay, um, you take that half, I'll take this."

I nod and head the direction Cal pointed. I stop people in the hall and ask if they saw anything. They shake their head so I continue. I continue on asking everyone and everything in this side of the building. After about a half hour, I meet up with Cal again.
