"What a mixed up dude," Sam says when he wakes up and I tell him what Axel said.

"No kidding," I reply. "So, the doctors say that you'll be out of here in a couple days."

"What about Cal?" Sam asks. "He really hates the med center."

I sigh then shrug.

"The doctors aren't sure. It could be a couple days or a couple weeks."

Sam nods in understanding.

"So has Bella stopped by to visit you?" I ask, changing the subject.

"We kinda had a falling out," he replies. "Long story short, she doesn't wanna talk to me again."

"Do you still want to talk to her?" I ask.

"Of course," Sam says. "She's the most beautiful, smart, wonderful girl I've ever met and I wanna be with her for as long as I can but I think I did something wrong."

"Spoil her with ice creams," I tell him. "It's bound to work."

Sam laughs.

"I'm doing that when I get out of here," he says.

"The doctors told me that you should rest so I'm gonna let you do that," I say. "I'll tell you if I find anything out about Cal."

"Kay," Sam replies. "See ya."

"Bye," I say.

I leave Sam's room and go to Cal's. He's awake and he looks angry.

"I literally just got out of this sanatanium and now I'm forced to be back," he says.

"Trust me, nobody wants you here, either," I reply. "You aren't exactly a peach when you're here."

"I'm never a peach," Cal says. "I hate it here."

"You have to be here," I tell him. "The wounds Axel gave you are pretty serious."

Cal groans and slams his head back on his pillow.

"How long do I have to be here?" he asks.

"It could be days, could be weeks," I shrug. "Not sure."

"Then find out," Cal says.

"I can't find out if the doctors don't even know," I reply.

"I'm gonna be here for the rest of my life," he says. "Wait, so, has Axel been working with Fongratch?"

"No," I reply. "He said that you and Sam were dangers to the MI so he wanted to kill you."

"He's the only danger," Cal says, then continues in a squeeky frustrated tone. "And now I have to be in here for a month!"

"The doctors didn't specifically say a month," I roll my eyes.

"Ya'know, I think they're trying to hold me here," Cal says. "I think they're all working with Fongratch."

"They put you on a medicine, didn't they?" I ask.

He shrugs. I look around and see a doctor walking by.

"Hey," I say. "Did you put him on some sort of a medicine?"

I point back at Cal.

"Yeah," she replies. "He would keep trying to get up and leave and that's the only way he would stay in his room. And a warning, he's gonna act like a 16 year old for a couple hours."

"Not like his 16 year old self, right?" I ask.

She shrugs.

"Let's hope not," she responds then walks off.

I turn back to Cal. He stares back at me.

"What?" he asks.

"Nothing," I reply.

He'll probably just act like any normal teenager. But there's nothing wrong with being safe right?

"I'm gonna go," I say.

I walk out the door and look at the nearest person.

"Make sure he doesn't leave," I say.

They nod and I walk off. I'm walking towards the training rooms and Trauno meets me halfway.

"Fongratch's army is getting out of hand," she says. "Tristan shot at him but missed. Fongratch has thousands on thousands of troups. We don't have enough people and we can't risk many more."

"Somebody needs to get Tristan in there," I conclude. "Is his training done yet?"

"Yes, I believe so," Trauno replies. "But we can't send him in there. He's too new."

"I went into Garmin's base with only Cal when I was with the MI for a shorter time."

"But Cal knew about Garmin and his base," she points out. "And he's had years of training from us and Garmin."

"Send in your best soldiers," I suggest. "It's a risk but if we can get in there, it should be a risk you're willing to take."

"Well, who do you suggest then?" Trauno questions. "Commander Axel was my best soldier and he's working with Fongratch!"

"Commander Axel isn't working for Fongratch. He says he finds Cal and Sam a danger to the MI."

"And there's another thing!" Trauno exclaims. "Two of my best soldiers are in the med center because of my best soldier! They aren't fit to go into battle! And you- you... You can go. You were trained by Cal so you have the expertise of a Garmin and MI soldier. You go. If we can hold off until Sam and Cal are healed, they go, too."

"Me?" I ask. "Go with him?"

I am not one of the best soldiers by a long shot. I've already done the whole going to the bad guy's base thing. I don't think I should do it again. I almost got Cal killed last time. Well, technically, I did get Cal killed. I was lucky enough to be able to revive him, though. What if something like that happens again? But this time, Tristan? Or someone else?

"Yes," Trauno answers. "You can shoot lightning so you could hold off any soldiers that try to get to Tristan."

"But..." I trail off.

"This isn't an option, godling," Trauno says, crossing her arms. "This is a command."
