Josh hangs up after leaving, what seems to him like, the most desperate sounding voicemail. I leans back in his seat and sighs. He takes off his shirt and climbs into bed.

Josh wakes up to Tyler beating on his bunk. He opens the curtain. "What?"
"How'd it go?" Tyler asks.
"She didn't answer." Josh says, rubbing his eyes.
"Oh man. I'm sorry." Tyler says.
"It's fine. I left the most desperate sounding voicemail." Josh laughs.
"Maybe she was asleep." Tyler reassures him. "You never know."
"I can only hope."
-----
Josh and Tyler play an amazing concert, but Josh can't get Bella off his mind. He tries to hide his sadness, but Tyler knows him too well.
"Text her, dude." Tyler says.
"What if that makes me seem even more desperate?" Josh asks.
"Maybe she didn't get the voicemail." Tyler says.
Josh nods. He pulls out his phone. "Hey. It's Josh. Sorry about that voicemail. I sounded way desperate. Are you okay?"
Josh and Tyler make a phone pinching vine, and Josh's phone dings. Tyler hits Josh on the arm. "Check it dude. "
Josh looks at his phone. "Are you busy? I'd like to talk." from Bella Hawthorne.
"Dude. She wants to talk. What does that mean?" Josh asks Tyler.
Tyler shrugs.
