I Didn't Forget About You

Bella took a deep breath as Jenna put the veil in her hair. Jenna took a step back. Jenna smiled and nodded. Bella looked to Grace, who already looked teary eyed. They heard a knock on the door.

"It's just me" She heard Tyler say.

Jenna cracked the door for Tyler to enter. Bella turned to Tyler. Tyler shook his head. "My best friend is getting married to a beautiful girl." He said. "And I'm giving her away."

Bella looks at her bridesmaids. They were wearing beautiful matching red dresses. 

She looks at Tyler, who was wearing a very well fitting suit with a black bow tie. 

"Do I have everything?" Bella asks.

"Something old?" Jenna asks.

"My bracelet."

"Something new?"

"This hair pin."

"Something borrowed?"

"This pendant."

Grace looks concerned, but doesn't say anything.

"Something blue."

"My shoes."

"It looks like you're good to go." Jenna says.

There's another knock on the door. "Places." Tyler's mom whispers.

Jenna and Grace leave. Tyler takes Bella's hands. "Thank you for letting me be such a big part of this day."

The wedding march starts to play. Tyler smiles at Bella. Tyler's mom knocks on the door one more time. "Ready?" She says, opening the door. "Oh wow." 

Bella smiles and nods. 

The doors close. Tyler and Bella stand out of the way of the doors. 

"All rise for the bride." The preacher says. 

Tyler kisses Bella's cheek. "You'll do great out there, kid." 

Bella chuckles. 

The doors open. Tyler walks Bella to the entrance of the doors. Bella and Josh lock eyes for a second. Bella smiles. 

Josh covers his mouth. He squats, marveling at his VERY soon-to-be wife. Bella smiles at how handsome Josh looks. He's also wearing a well tailored suit, but with a red bow tie. 

"That's a keeper." Tyler says. 

They keep walking down the aisle. Pictures are taken, videos being recorded. Jenna and Grace hold hands. Everyone in the place smiles. 

They make it all the way up the aisle without a problem. The wedding march stops. 

"Who gives this woman to be married?" The preacher asks. 

Tyler looks to Jenna, who gives him a stern look. 

"Well, I guess that's me." Tyler says. 

Everyone in the hall laughs. 

Josh steps down off of the pulpit. Jenna takes Bella's flowers. 

Josh takes Bella's hands. "Take good care of her. I know where you live." Tyler says, jokingly. 

Bella and Josh step onto the pulpit, in front of the preacher. 

The preacher starts with a prayer. 

"The bride and groom have prepared their own vows. Joshua." The preacher looks to Josh. 

Josh smiles. "Bella. Where do I start? You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You make me a better man. These years together have proven to me that love is real. I love you with all my heart. I can't wait to spend forever with you." 

Jenna puts her hand on her heart. Tyler wipes away a tear.

"Bella?" the preacher says. 

"Josh. You are amazing. Every second I spend with you is magical. You make me feel like a princess. You've shown me that things happen for a reason, and you are my reason." 

Grace starts bawling as Bella sheds a tear.

"The rings?" 

Jenna hands Josh a ring, and Tyler hands Bella a ring. 

Josh grasps the ring tightly in his sweating hands. 

"Do you, Joshua William Dun, take Bella Elaine Hawthorne, to have and to hold, for better or worse, till death do you part?" 

Josh nods. "I do." He says, sliding the ring on her finger. 

"Do you, Bella Elaine Hawthorne, take Joshua William Dun, to have and to hold, for better or worse, till death do you part?" 

Bella nods. "I really do." She slides the silver band onto Josh's naked hand. 

"Then, by the power vested in me, by the state of Ohio, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride." 

Josh puts his hand on Bella's cheek, and pulls her into a kiss. 

Tyler hoots, Jenna and Grace cry, and the rest of the crowd claps. 

"May I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Dun." 

Josh and Bella turn to face the audience. They walk back down the aisle. 

Halfway down the aisle, Bella whispers to Josh. "Remember that voicemail?" 

"Yeah." 

"I didn't forget about you."
