Like an Idiot

Josh sits down in the booth across from Tyler. 

"How'd it go?" Tyler asks. 

"Great." Josh giggles. 

"Are you..." Tyler lets his question trail off. 

"I didn't ask. She didn't ask. I don't know." Josh says, biting into his food. 

"Well, are you going to ask?" 

"I want to." Josh says, mouth full.

Tyler laughs. "Who wouldn't want to date that?" Tyler motions to Josh's face. 

Josh shrugs.

They finish their meal and get back on the bus. Josh picks up his phone and texts Bella. 

"Hey. I have a question. Call me?" 

A few minutes later, Josh's phone rings. 

"Hey." 

"Hey, Josh."

"This may sound weird, but how soon is too soon?" Josh asks. 

"As in?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Josh blurts out. 

"I-Yes." Bella says. 

"Oh. I expected something like 'its too soon' or 'no'. That makes me really happy." Josh says jumping up and down. 

"Me too." Bella says.

Later that day, Josh and Tyler do an interview. 

"And here's a question that the fans would like to hear the answer to. Josh, would you ever date a fan?" The interviewer asks. 

Josh smiles like an idiot. "Yeah. One in particular." 

Tyler nudges Josh's shoulder with his. "For real?" he whispers.

Josh turns to Tyler. "Yeah."
