Heart slowly breaking

Every bone in her body, quivering, shaking

She is the girl who fell for you

The one you made think you felt it too

But just as all things fade with time

She stopped being the rhythm in your rhyme

Apologize, that's what you'll do

Give her the good ole "I didn't mean to hurt you"

And she'll believe you with her whole heart and soul

Even though she's heart broken and the heart breaker was your role

That's what she expected you to say

But you never did, at least, not today...

You were upset, she made you mad

In that moment, things went from okay to bad

You were angry, she was hurt

The whole thing was dragging you both through the dirt

Her anxiety rocketed, she couldn't breathe

But one thing was sure, she was scared you would leave

"No!" She silently cried, "Panda don't go!"

Tension was rising, she said something wrong, "Oh no!"

"I'm losing him..." She cried to her friend

"He and I are gonna meet our final end..."

Time went on and things went down hill

"I'll fight to make us better! I promise! I will!"

Her friends spoke up "I hate seeing you like this

He took you to hell when you were living in bliss"

"How could you be friends with such an ass?"

"I'm going to kill him, I swear to Cas!"

But she shook her head, she was going numb

The argument ended, the damage was done

She numbly stared into space

Thinking of all the things she wish she could erase

"I'm sorry," She whispered to no one at all

"I took a leap, not expecting to fall"

She shouldn't have said that you didn't care

She really hopes this is something she can repair

She knows you care, knows you're in pain

Don't let the friendship die in vain

She doesn't care if she owns your heart

She just wants to go back to the start

A time when things were easy and she prolonged your hugs

Times when you laughed so hard, people thought you'd taken drugs

She doesn't care if this ends in happily ever after

She just misses the jokes and the sound of your laughter

Will you make it through this dark hour? She doesn't know

But I can tell you this, she's not ready to let you go

So give it a try,  just as friends

Do whatever it takes to make sure she doesn't lose you again....
