"Jiminie." I complained, pouting on the bed. "Please? I'm tired."

"Then go to bed, I really have to finish this." Jimin said from his spot on the other side of the room. "I'm sorry, i'll come lay with you when i'm done, but you should try to sleep. It's late."

I grumbled low in my throat, annoyingly throwing the blankets over my shoulders and resting my head on the pillow. I watched Jimin for a second more as he listened to the same song over and over again, running through different choreographies in his mind.

I never slept well without him. Ugh... this was not going to go well.

"Didn't you hear me?" The man standing in front of me barked. "You do this for me, or he dies." He pointed the gun in his hand towards Jimin, unconscious on the floor.

I swallowed hard. "I-I can't-" I stuttered, looking at the women also on the ground this man wanted me to kill. I didn't know her, I have never seen her before in my life, but I couldn't kill her. But if I didn't... Jimin...

"I'll give you five seconds." The man said, tapping his foot. "Five."

"No, please." I cried.

"Four."

"I won't kill her! I won't!"

"Three,"

"No!"

"Two," He pointed the gun. "One."

I shut my eyes tight as the gunshot went off, but despite the fact that Jimin should be dead, his voice was still ringing in my ears, saying my name over and over.

"Kade, Kade wake up. Kade!"

My eyes shot open, my brow braking into a cold sweat. I took in a few deep breaths before blinking, trying to see. It was too dark for my eyes, but then a very soft light filled the room. I sat up, fully awake now as I looked around frantically. My eyes landed on a very worried Jimin sitting next to me on the bed, afraid to do anything.

I let out a relieved sigh as I finally allowed myself to breath. I shut my eyes, resting them in my hands as I slowed my breath.

"Baby, are you okay?" Jimin barely whispered.

I nodded into my hands. "I just had a bad dream." My voice came out tired. "I'm sorry if I woke you up."

"Sweetheart, it's okay." Jimin soothingly ran his hand over my back as he pulled me into his chest. I grabbed onto his shirt, breathing him in for a second, but the moment I closed my eyes, they jerked back open. Whenever I closed my eyes I just saw everything over again.

Jimin must have noticed something was wrong because he slid his arms under my legs and back, lifting me up into his arms.

"What are you doing?" I gasped, instinctively wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I'm going to help you fall back asleep." He smiled down at me as he walked out of the bedroom, moving his way downstairs and into the kitchen. He turned on the light, then set me down gently on the counter. He slipped off the hoodie he was wearing and threw it over my head, causing me to jump slightly, but I slid the arms in, feelings instantly warmer.

A few minutes later he was in front of me again, setting down a steaming cup of hot chocolate at my side. He rested his hands on my legs, running them back and forth slowly and softly.

"Do you want to talk about it?" His voice came out very gentle.

I held the warm mug in my hands, avoiding eye contact. "Well," I pursed my lips. "You... you were... I could have saved you but I didn't. You got-" My breath caught as I clenched my jaw.

"Again?" Jimin let out a sigh. "You've had this nightmare like, five times in the past month."

I only shrugged, looking down. I didn't want to tell him it only happens when he doesn't lay in bed with me. He would feel burdened, and I really didn't want that. He was a busy person, and couldn't revolve around me.

"Baby," Jimin gently cupped my cheek. "I'm not going anywhere, nothing is going to happen to me."

I leaned into his touch, finally being able to close my eyes. "I'm sorry, I guess I just don't sleep well without you."

"Don't be sorry." Jimin slid his other hand around my back, pulling me closer to him. "I can't sleep without you."

I quickly pulled him to me, resting my head on his shoulder as I got lost in the smell of him. He wrapped his arms protectively around me, whispering soothing things in my ear.

"Do you think you can sleep now?" He said after a second.

I nodded, slipping off the counter. "I'm keeping this though." I tugged at his jacket I was wearing. "And this." I slipped the hot chocolate off the counter as he let out a soft laugh.

Ummm... if I was dating Jimin I would purposefully have nightmares tbh.
