You slammed the door to your so called best friends house, putting you out in the cold late at night.
"Oh Y/N, come over." You mocked her voice as you stomped away from her house. "We can have a girls night bla bla." You rolled your eyes as you glanced back at the house that was basically bouncing from the loud music. "Invite a bunch of people." You grumbled. "Sure fine, whatever. But invite my ex? Really? Ugh, stupid bitch."
You kicked at the snow on the ground wrapping your arms around yourself. It was for sure below freezing and you were in your pajamas which, because you are just fucking smart, were not even long pants. Your shoes were not meant for snow and was slowly starting to grow soaked. There was no doubt in your mind that you would get frostbite before you reached your house. You didn't have your car seeing as your friend drove you back to her house after you got dinner, and all of your stuff was still up in her bedroom. It absolutely would have been the better decision to go and change back into real clothes before stomping out, but that would have ruined the moment. You had the best line for you ex and stomping up the stairs and then coming back down seemed a lot more awkward than just walking out. But... now that you think about it... that would have definitely been the smarter decision.
You shivered against your arms, glad that your anger was still keeping you from being completely frozen. You tied to think of people to call, or anyone you knew that lived close to here that could give you a ride back home. You passed an apartment complex that caught your eye.
You had completely forgotten that he lived here, seeing as you have only been here maybe three times. You pursed your lips tightly while looking up. Kim Namjoon's apartment was up there. He was a guy you had became best friends with within the last few months. He had asked you out on a date about three weeks ago and you guys were going strong still. Would it be weird to call him and say you were outside of his house in freakin shorts literally freezing your butt off?
Your mind screamed fuck it as you felt your toes grow numb and pulled out your phone, finding his contact number with shaky hands. He picked up after the fourth ring, his voice way warmer than you felt.
"Hi Y/N." He greeted.
"Hi." You tried to force your teeth to stop chattering but it was no use. "I-I have a f-favor to a-ask."
"Why are you shivering?" Namjoon's voice held immediate concern.
"Well, it's kind of a funny story." You let out a dry laugh. "I was at a friends house, and then she invented over a bunch of people, including my ex and I really can't stand him so I left, but I didn't have my car and I don't live anywhere close to her. I'm in front of your house right now, and I was just wondering if you could drive me home? I can pay you for gas or by you dinner even. If you are too busy that's totally okay I can call a cab or something but-"
You were cut off by the front door of the apartment complex swinging open. Namjoon ran out right to you. You blinked in surprise. Wasn't he on the seventh floor or something? How'd he get down here so quick?
"Jesus christ Y/N, it's below freezing!" He breathed as he immediately took off his light jacket and wrapped it around your shoulders. "What were you thinking going outside like this?" He guided you inside.
"It w-was for e-effect." You shivered as he lead you inside.
"You could have frozen to death." Namjoon shook his head as the two moved into the elevator. "Why'd you just stand outside of the building? You could have come in you know."
"Well, I thought you were just going to drive me home." You shrugged lightly. "Which is where we are going right? Is the garage below the building?"
