It was past 11. The sun was long gone and the snow was starting to get heavier. Your eyes were drifting while sitting on the couch, watching t.v to try and keep you awake. You had called him twice already, since he was normally home by now. He had been keeping busy for the past few weeks and you knew that, being respectful of his late nights and early mornings. You still felt bad not waiting up for him though, that's the least you could do.
Your eyes snapped open when you heard the door. He was trying to be quiet coming in, seeing it was so late and you had all the lights off, but the moment he closed the door behind him, you sat up, turning the table side light on.
Hoseok froze, looking at you with wide eyes. His face fell when looking at you, dropping his bag at his side.
"Y/N," He let out a long sigh. "What did I tell you about waiting up for me? I come home too late, you need to sleep."
"I can't sleep without you so there's no point." You tried to give him a smile, but he ran a hand over his face, putting a pit in your stomach.
"I've still got some stuff to do." He said sadly. "But you really should sleep."
"Hobi-"
"Y/N, please you're going to get yourself sick with staying up this late all the time."
"You're staying up later then me." You crossed your arms over your chest. "Am I not aloud to be worried about you too?"
Hoseok pouted his bottom lip slightly, reaching out to put a strand of hair behind your ear. "Don't be mad at me." He pleaded. "I can't take it when you're mad at me."
You let out a long sigh and leaned into his touch. "I'm not mad at you, I could never be mad at you."
"Good." Hoseok breathed out. "And I really am sorry, but I can't sleep just yet, but at least go lie down, please?"
"I'll take a shower." You gave him a light smile. "And then yes, i'll go lie down, but only because you're cute." You grabbed at his cheeks, finally getting him to smile.
"Go on." He shoved lightly at your forehead.
You watched him for only a second before moving into the bathroom connected to your shared room. You didn't bother closing the door as you showered quickly, pulling one of Hoseok's shirts over your head, too lazy to even try and blow dry your hair this late at night.
When you walked back out, Hoseok was sitting at the desk by the window, his head resting in his hand as he wrote down something on a paper. You chewed on your bottom lip as you watched him. He was exhausted, you could tell.
Because of the cold weather from outside and the steam from the shower, the window he was sitting in front of had fogged over. An idea popped into your head as you slowly made your way over to him, careful not to make enough noise for him to look back at you.
Once you got near him, you draped your arms over his shoulders, reaching in front of him and dragging your finger against the fogged over window.
"Hobi look." You smiled down at him. "Heartu." You mocked his English voice.
He finally let out a real laugh, shaking his head as he looked at the window. You pinched at his cheeks, happy you could get him to laugh, and started to take a step back, taking your weight off of him.
In a blink of an eye though, he was standing and lifted you into his arms. You let out a slight cry of surprise and instantly grabbed onto the back of his neck for support.
"You win." He smiled smugly at you.
"What-" You breathed, still startled by his sudden action.
He ignored you, walking over to the bed and setting you down, laying down next to you with his arms still around you.
"I said," He whispered into your ear as he pulled the covers over the two of you. "You win."
Do you guys remember when I said I would have all of these up in like December? Ha...ha...
