Taehyung POV
Taehyung could hear the music and feel the beat a block away from Killer. Taehyung kept at the back of the group, his hands stuffed in his pockets and his hood up. The cold night air actually felt nice kissing his skin, numbing the tip of his noise.
They finally reached the building, the humidity of crowded people engulfed him. He watched as the other six went in before him, Namjoon stopping at the end to look over his shoulder at the younger boy. Taehyung motioned him to go in without him, that he would join them later. Namjoon hesitated for a moment, but then left him alone in the hallway.
He made his way over to a spot on the wall he could lean against, bumping carelessly into a few people on his way.
He let his head fall back against the hard surface, closing his eyes against his headache. Was this girl even worth it anymore? They had been dating for a few months now, and he did like her a lot. She was very pretty, but if she was making him feel like this, was it really something he wanted to keep at?
His phone suddenly buzzed in his pocket. His eyes became wide as he scrambled for it, giving his last hope into this phone call, but felt extremely disappointed at the name he saw. At first he wanted to ignore it, but shook his head. You wouldn't be calling him this late if it wasn't something important.
"Hello?" Taehyung breathed out.
"Tae?" Your voice came out hesitant.
He narrowed his eyes at the tone of your voice. "Y/N, are you okay?"
"Umm," You dragged your words out. "Actually, I have something to tell you... about your girlfriend-"
"Y/N," Taehyung growled out. "I am not in the mood."
"But-"
"I said not now." Taehyung hissed out. "I get that you love being the problem solver but it's annoying, alright? So give it a rest."
He hung up without waiting for your reply. To irritated to realize how rude he was to you, he pushed his way into the room the rest of the boys were in, shoving the hood on his head farther forward as he reached for a mic, which Namjoon gladly handed over.
His voice came out low as he sang to the beat, clutching the mic with white knuckles.
Y/N POV
You blinked in surprise when he hung up on you. You were in even more of shock by how he talked to you. This wasn't the Taehyung you knew, the one you feel in love with.
You let out a very slow breath as you changed directions, turning the car around, pushing away your original intention of trying to see him. You waited till you were at a stop sign to pull your phone out again.
"Hello?" Jimin answered after the fourth ring. "Y/N?" He yelled over the noise."
"Hey," You kept your voice clear so he could hear you. "Sorry for bothering you, but I just have to tell you this quick."
"Hold on." He yelled, shuffling for a second before the noise became muffled. "Okay, now I can hear you. What's up? Did you change your mind? Are you coming?"
You pursed your lips tightly. "No," You said quietly.
"Y/N?" Jimin's voice hitched. "Are you okay? You sound sad."
"I'm honestly just tired." You sighed out a yawn, trying to make it sound believable.
"If you say so." Jimin said, doubtful. "So what's up? Why'd you call?"
