You jerked yourself awake when the lights in the room suddenly turned on, giving you an instant headache. You blinked your eyes open, taking a second to get used to the light. There were sounds of things being thrown and moved carelessly, confusing you.
Once your eyesight finally adjusted, you saw Namjoon frantically moving around the bedroom, looking through draws and on tables for something.
"Namjoon?" You husky whispered out, rubbing your eyes. "What are you doing?"
Namjoon huffed out a breath of annoyance, still sifting through things, now heading for your bags. "Where's my wallet?"
"Wallet?" You tilted your head, still confused at everything going on.
"Yes Y/N, my wallet." Namjoon barked. "I can't find it anywhere and you had it last."
You finally sat up, running a light hand through your hair, trying to wake your brain up. "You mean last night? I gave it back to you in the car."
"Obviously you didn't, it wasn't in the car." Namjoon disappeared into your closet.
"I swore I did." You thought back to last night.
Namjoon went out with you because you needed to pick up your prescription for migraines and some more iron supplements, but he ended up wanting to stay in the car so he gave you his wallet so you could use his card, but the moment you got back in the car, you gave him the bag of pills to set by his feet and his wallet.
"I'll go look." You kicked your legs over the bed onto the cold floor.
"I already looked," Namjoon growled, surprising you with how forceful his tone was. "You must've put it in your jacket, what were you wearing?"
"I didn't have a jacket on last night."
"Well, then what the hell did you do with it?" He ruffled angrily at his hair. "I have to go, I'm already late."
"Let me help you look." You stood, wrapping your arms around yourself. "It's got to be somewhere, we only went to the pharmacists last night so-"
"I swear if you left it there," Namjoon snarled.
"Let if there?" You jerked your head back, taken aback with his behavior. He had never acted this way with you before. "You mean at the pharmacy?"
"Where else?" Namjoon rolled his eyes. "You're so damn forgetful I wouldn't put it past you. They don't even open for another hour so I can't call."
You knew for a fact you didn't leave it there, you also would bet money on the fact that you gave it back to him in the car. "Let me go look in the car." You moved for the door.
"Jesus Y/N I already looked I told you!" Namjoon shouted, making you jump. "It's not there, and you looking will just waste time I don't have."
You took in a deep breath, kind of scared to argue with him on this. "Take mine then." You barely whispered.
"Take-" He looked at you, irritated. "What?"
"I know you won't have your ID, but this way you'll have my card just in case you need to buy something, and my insurance card. My bus pass if you need-"
"I'm not taking the bus." He spat out. "I'll be even later. I'm taking the car."
You swallowed down your snarky reply as you watched him snatch your wallet from the dresser and grab his jacket.
"Call the pharmacy when they open, it has to be there." Was all he said before slamming the door behind him.
You clenched your fists as your eyes bore into the closed door. "Me forgetful?" You scoffed. "Mr. Loses his goddamn passport every five seconds, christ."
