Taehyung- Slight shake of the head PT. 2

You picked up as many shifts at work as you could. It was a good distraction, you woke up, got ready for work, and by the time you got home, you were tired enough to go to sleep. This had been going on for a little over a week. You figured you should distract yourself as much as possible after you turned Taehyung away the day he came.

Otherwise, you'd be a melting puddle of tears on the floor.

Your coworkers knew something must've happened between you and Taehyung, but you didn't tell anyone. You didn't want to push your depression onto others, it didn't seem fair.

You were just cleaning up. The restaurant was already closed, and everyone had left but you. All you had to do was turn off all the lights and lock everything up. You were just about to switch off the tv in the corner when the news headline caught your eye.

BTS Kim Taehyung pulls out of the main lead in new drama.

You knew it wasn't the best idea, but you unmuted the t.v and leaned back against one of the tables.

"This was his biggest acting break yet." The lady on the screen was saying. "The director asked for him specifically, and to pull out just days after he was signed onto the show? Unheard of."

"Maybe it would've taken up too much time, him being in the top boy group in Korea and all." The women sitting next to her suggested.

"That would've been a problem addressed before he signed onto the drama- Oh hold on, I've gotten a development in the story."

You leaned forward, acting as though if you got closer to the t.v she would speak faster.

"It turns out that the casting director and the main female lead were involved in illegal actions, going against the strict personal privacy contract with Kim Taehyung. Apparently, they looked into his personal life and messed with a few people he was close with, the Female lead saying that was the only way she would sign on the drama."

"Really?" The other gasped. "That's terrible. After this gets out they are not going to be able to proceed with the drama. The main director might be able to pull it off in a few months, but say goodbye to that casting director and the female lead."

"Not to mention what this is going to do to their careers after this."

"What about his personal life was so important to risk the whole drama I wonder."

"I don't know, but I'd rather not talk about it. By the way Big Hit took those two down I don't even want to be a part of this conversation."

You couldn't believe what you were hearing. He pulled out of the contract? And he even publicly exposed the casting director. That was not like him at all, plus this was the exact role that he had been working so hard for years, it was stupid to let it go so easily. Not to mention this will be on his permanent record every time he goes to audition for something else. He didn't do anything wrong, but still...

You slightly shook your head, grabbing the remote next to you to turn off the t.v, turning off the rest of the lights as well, making sure the door was securely locked before starting your walk back home.

You shook your head over and over but you just couldn't get the thought of him out of your mind. You wanted to see him, talk to him, especially after what he did. But, there was still part of you that hated him for breaking your heart. He didn't just break it, he shattered it completely, that wasn't something that just got put back together overnight. A simple sorry wouldn't cut it either. You wanted to forgive him, but you couldn't.

Not yet anyway.

Taehyung's "scandal" with the drama was everywhere the next day. Every time you opened your phone there would be some add about it. You eventually just turned the thing off, not really wanting to look at it.
