"B-baby, are you s-sure this was a good idea?" Hoseok stuttered as he watched every single step he took.

"Oh, come on." I grinned over at him. "This is a great idea. It's going to be so fun! And also romantic." I winked, turning around so I could face him while walking backwards.

"Alright, but," Hoseok looked around him. "Namjoon said there were snakes here."

"There are snakes everywhere." I rolled my eyes. "Stop complaining, we're almost back to camp."

"How are you so outdoorsy?" Hoseok asked as he caught up to me. "I didn't know you were good at this kind of stuff."

"We used to go camping all the time when I was a kid." I shrugged. "Although, I wouldn't have been able to set up the tent without your help." I grinned, slipping my hand into his.

He gladly held it back. "It's because you're short." He patted my head.

"Yah..." I grumbled, pouting my lips. "I'm not short. I'm almost as tall as Jimin."

"Yeah, and he's short."

"Well you're a scaredy cat, so." I scrunched my nose at him.

"Am not." He shot. "I just don't like things that could kill or injure me. I also don't like jump scares or anything that crawls or heights or the dark-"

"Yeah, not a scaredy cat at all." I huffed. "Such a man."

"I am a man." Hoseok defended. "That's why I don't have my ears pierced."

"So i've heard." I teased. Suddenly I stopped walking, looking around for a second. "Hu." I grunted.

"What?" Hoseok looked down at me.

"Well, it's getting dark and I can't really see. I can't remember if the camp is that way or that way."

I could feel Hoseok tense up beside me. "D-did you bring a flashlight?"

"No, I thought we would be back before the sun went down, but we spent so much time trying to get your foot out of that hole, we ran low on time."

"Okay, okay, stay calm." He breathed, putting his hands out. "We'll be fine."

"Of course we will." I rolled my eyes. "I just wish I had a little bit of light.

Hoseok suddenly let go of my hand and gasped, grinning slowly. "Don't worry baby, I got this."

I took a step back as I watched him. He cleared his throat, then lifted his foot up and stomped it hard on the ground. I watched as the soles of his shoes lit up barely with red and blue. I put my hand over my mouth as I muffled back a laugh.

"Are those... are those sketchers?" I snickered.

"Yeah." Hoseok's smile slowly started to fall. "What? Are you laughing at me? I don't think you have the right to laugh at the person that has the light."

"Those barely light up the leaves around your foot, how is it going to show what's in front of us?" I burst out laughing, doubling over and holding my stomach. "Oh my god, you are literally the cutest."

"What?" Hoseok whined. "They're cool! I got Yoongi a pair just like them so we can match."

"Holly shit. Oh my god, you're killing me." I was actually dying. "Aww, I love you so much."

Hoseok gave me a face. "I love you too, but we should really be heading back." He stomped his foot on the ground again, lighting up jack squat. "Follow me babe, i'll get us out."

I grabbed onto his hand again, still laughing. "Lead the way, Skechers."

Despite me having my eyes closed half the time from laughing, we made it back to our campsite safety. I started the fire as Hoseok set up a chair right by it. He got out all of the stuff for s'mores and set them out in front of him, carefully picking everything up.

I followed suit, picking a marshmallow and sticking it on the poker. I crouched by the fire and started to hold it in, but Hoseok grabbed my arm and dragged me over to him, having me sit on his lap as we roasted the marshmallows.

"You know why they are called s'mores, right?" I asked, looking back at him.

He shook his head. "Tell me."

"Well, when the first s'more was made, all the kids that tried it kept saying, some more, some more, therefore the name, s'more, was invented." I explained.

"Ooh." Hoseok marveled. "That's so cool, I didn't know that. Makes sense though, it's the best combination since cheese on everything."

"Ah," I laughed. This boy never failed to make me smile and almost cry laughing.

There was suddenly a faint sound a little ways away. Hoseok jumped, dropping his marshmallow in the fire and wrapping his arms very tightly around my waist. I lost my breath for a second as I looked back at him.

"Hobi, it's probably nothing." I breathed.

"What if it's a snake." He yell whispered, looking around sharply. "I... I hate snakes."

"Well then i'll protect you." I patted at his hand.

"No." He barked, still looking around. "No i'll protect you. That's my job."

I pursed my lips as I felt myself blush. "Aww, you're sweet, but don't worry. If a snake comes, I brought a shovel."

Hoseok finally loosened his grip on me a little, kissing me lightly on the cheek. "You're so smart babe. Did you bring a gun too, just in case?"

"Gosh." I rolled my eyes.

I woke up slowly to the smell of fresh air and the sounds of birds. Hoseok was no longer next to me, he wasn't even in the tent. We went to bed pretty late last night, just talking and looking at the stars. It was truly beautiful up here, the only problem was the brisk night. That wasn't a huge problem though, Hoseok radiated heat.

I pushed myself up and held one of his jacket close to me, slipping out of the tent. I rubbed at my eyes as I searched for him, finding him at the fire pit, doing something I couldn't quite see.

"Hobi, what are you doing?" I yawned.

"Good morning beautiful." He stood up and walked over to me, grabbing my hands and kissing me on the forehead. "Did you sleep well?"

I nodded, smiling lightly up at him. "How about you?"

"Perfect." He flashed me a smile before moving back to what he was doing by the fire. I stood behind him and watched as he fiddled with something wrapped in tinfoil.

"I did it!" He said after a second, pulling the tinfoil out of the fire.

"Did what?" I asked again.

"I made camping breakfast." He gave me a goofy smile and put whatever was wrapped in tinfoil out on the small table in front of him. "I read up on it a lot while I was back at home, and Jin hyung helped me some, so I think it should turn out okay." He unwrapped it to reveal something that smelled amazing. "Jin hyung said it was called a blueberry breakfast bake. It's like a blueberry casserole or something. Here, try some."

He handed me a fork which I gladly took, taking a huge piece and stuffing it in my mouth. The moment it touched my tongue, I wanted to cry. Campfire food always tasted better than anything, plus, this little ball of sunshine made it, so how could it not turn out perfect.

"It's so good." I breathed, my mouth still half full. "This is really amazing."

"Yes!" He cheered, throwing his arms up. "Aw, i'm so happy."

"I'm really proud." I wrapped my arms lazily around his shoulders. "You should try-"

There was a sudden rustle in the trees, probably just the wind, but Hoseok wrapped his arms tightly around my waist, smushing my face in his chest.

"Was that a snake?!" He whispered urgently.

"Oh my god." I rolled my eyes at this lovable idiot.
