If I was your girlfriend pt2

"Jimin, you okay?" You asked with a smirk as you looked over at him. The two of you were strapped into your seats, side by side, seconds away from the start of the ride.

"Yes Y/N, how many times do I have to tell you?" Jimin snarled, his grip on your hand tightening.

"Ow, Jimin." You laughed. "You're crushing my hand."

"Well, that's what you get for making me go on this-" The ride jerked as it started going up. "Oh my god oh my god," Jimin mumbled out. "Jesus Christ."

"Jimin," You felt slightly bad for laughing but you couldn't help it. "It's okay, it's supposed to be fun, you're not in any danger."

Jimin looked over at you through the rides seat belt. He had a weird look in his eye, one that you could truthfully say you had never seen before, and you've known him for almost three years now.

"Jimin it's okay." You said again as the ride reached the top. "I'm here."

His eyes widened slightly, but before it could escalate anymore, the ride dropped. The sensation of falling filled you and you couldn't help but scream in delight, soon bursting out laughing when Jimin's cries for his mom filled your ears.

The fall only lasted a few seconds. The two of you were back on the ground before you knew it, Jimin still surprisingly holding on rather tight to your hand. He stumbled slightly when you started walking off, his legs shaking from him still being slightly out of breath.

"Jiminie." You giggled, grabbing onto his arm. "Do you need to go home?"

"No." Jimin snarled, standing up straight. "If you tease me one more time I swear i'll-"

"You'll what." You looked up at him with a grin.

Jimin matched your look. "I don't think you want to know, gorgeous."

Your smile instantly fell. Gorgeous. Jimin used to call his girlfriend that all the time. It felt like a sledgehammer to your chest when he said it to you, knowing that he didn't mean it in the slightest. It was just habit.

"Whoa, that intimidating, huh?" Jimin raised a playful eyebrow at your silence.

"No just," You had to play it off. "Not used to the pet names yet I guess, you startled me."

"Ahh," Jimin easily took the bate. "I guess I can stop if you really don't like it, I just feel like it adds to the whole thing, you know?"

"Oh, I know." You huffed under your breath, too quiet for Jimin to hear.

"Ooh, let's go to the beach." Jimin grinned happily. "You're wearing your swimsuit right?"

"Yeah," You looked down at your white shirt. "But I don't plan on taking my shirt off."

"Hmm." Jimin pursed his lips, a smile that scared you. "Okay, we can just play around by the shore, we don't have to go in. Besides, there's more food and stuff over there."

You nodded, allowing him to pull you along next to him towards the beach. There were more people here, which made sense. The sun was just starting to go down and this is where the fireworks were going to be.

Right before you reached the shore, Jimin stopped a little ways away and shrugged off his shirt, dropping it into a pile with his flannel and phone. He urged you to do the same, but you kept your word, keeping your shirt on. Thank Jesus that Jimin had a problem with keeping his shirt on, so seeing him like this was nothing new to you, you'd gotten used to keeping your squeals to a minimum.
