"TUUrrnn Uppp"
You glanced down at your phone extremely confused, tilting your head as you made a face down at the screen.
"Tae what the fuck is wrong with you?"
You waited impatiently for a reply, but nothing came. You eventually rolled your eyes and slipped your phone back in your bag as you moved to close your locker.
"Hu."
You jumped at the sudden voice, turning to find Taehyung leaning against the lockers next to you. "What do you mean "Hu"?" You asked with a raise of an eyebrow.
"Well," Taehyung's eyes were glued to his phone. "I texted you at 3:21, and you texted back at 3:22."
"Yeah," You shrugged. "You texted some stupid shit, I was confused, sorry it took me a second to figure out what the hell you were trying to say." You scoffed out.
"No that's not it." Taehyung turned his phone upside down as he looked at it. "You texted back right when I texted you."
"That's kind of what you do while texting, moron." You rolled your eyes at him.
"So then why is it that my girlfriend won't text back within hours?"
You curled your tongue as your eyes drifted down. "Maybe she's busy, or her phone is off. We are in school, you know."
"I guess," He muttered. "But it's been happening a lot recently."
You internally let out a very long, dramatic sigh. You loved Taehyung, he was your best friend and had been for a few years now, but that love didn't just reach the friend quota. You had feelings for him, stupid and cliche yeah whatever, but sucks, it's the truth.
To be completely honest, you didn't even realize your feelings for him until he got a girlfriend. The two of you were in your last year of high school and you hadn't even thought of him that way until you started seeing him with another girl and realized you were jealous. You being the type of person you were, would never in a million years let that affect your friendship though, you would rather have him around and talking about this girl 24/7 then not at all.
"Have you tried talking to her about it?" You asked, doing your best to keep your voice from wavering.
"I asked her about it one time and she just got annoyed with me." Taehyung pouted. "But maybe she really is busy. I should apologize, right?"
No, you should drop her like the rotten sack of potatoes she really is. "You've done nothing wrong." You said simply. "But you can try to talk to her again if you think you should."
Taehyung took in a single deep breath. "Thanks Y/N." He said with a bright smile that tug at your heart. "I can always count on you."
He waved as he hopped down the hallway, probably off to find his girlfriend. You plastered on a smile until he turned around. He was too kind hearted for a girl like her. It pissed you the fuck off that someone would treat him like that. You didn't know why she was ignoring him, or being distant, but you didn't like it.
"You know Y/N," You jumped yet again at the new voice. "Telling him would be a lot easier on you."
You turned to face Jimin, Taehyung's best friend that saw right through you the moment he started dating this girl. "Shut up." You spat. "You know how awful that would be."
"I don't know." Jimin said with a light shrug. "Personally I like you a lot better than her."
"She's not my favorite either." You muttered, sinking back against your locker.
