You kept your head sunk down into your hood as you rushed for the door, just grabbing the knob when you heard your dad call for you. You sucked in a deep breath, cursing your legs for not moving faster.
"Y/N, wait." You heard from the kitchen.
"I'm late." You said simply, opening the door.
"Y/N, just one minute, please." He begged. You could hear his voice getting closer and you let out a long sigh.
"I already told you," You grumbled, turning to face him. "I'm not going."
"Y/N, I need you to go." He huffed out. "Please? For me?"
You clenched your jaw tightly, shaking your head once before disappearing out the door. You felt bad the moment you started walking. Your dad didn't deserve your bad attitude, but his particular question was starting to get on your nerves.
About two weeks ago, your mom contacted your dad, wanting custody of you. Over five years ago, your mom decided that it would be a great idea to kiss another man that was in no way your dad, and she left without a second thought, abandoning the two of you. It was a huge deal because your dad was rather big in business around here, so it was all over the press, doing nothing but pissing you off. Finally everything started to quiet down and now it was right back up again because that women wanted full custody of you.
You honestly wouldn't be as mad about this if your dad just told you why. You knew he knew why she wanted you, but for some reason he wasn't saying anything. That's why you refused to go to the court date with your dad.
You got to school with a few minutes to spare. You kept your hood up as you walked in and to your locker. About a week ago is when your mom started making a fuss out of all of this, and now everyone was eyeing you, just like five years ago. You wanted nothing but to spill all of their stupid scorching coffee in their shirt.
Lucky you sat in the back of the room in your first class. You laced your headphones through the sleeve of your jacket and leaned on your hand, wanting to close your eyes, but the teacher already hated you enough.
Her dull voice filled your ear that wasn't being blasted with music. You let your eyes zone out on the wall in front of you, happy that the teacher was doing nothing but scrolling through a power point.
Your head jerked forward slightly, snapping you out of your trance. You clenched your jaw as you immediately knew what had happened. The jerk came again after a second of you ignoring it, and again.
Finally you let out a low growl, spinning around in your chair. "Knock it off."
The boy that was kicking your chair grinned. "I don't want to."
"I will hit you so hard in the face the very few brain cells you have left will bleed out of your ear, got it?"
He leaned back, resting his hands behind his head. "Who put you in a bad mood?"
"You." You spat. "So piss off before I burn your hair off."
He chuckled out a laugh. "Shouldn't you be jumping for joy? Your all in the papers again."
I bit down hard on my lip, forcing myself not to punch him right in the nose. Before I could say anything though, another voice entered the conversation. One that I have honestly never heard before.
"Shut up you fucking asshole."
The boy's eyes widened in fear as he turned towards the boy who had spoke. Park Jimin. This boy never talks and when he does no one dares to talk back. No one knew for sure, but he must have been part of some type of gang or something, because when the police were here they were looking for him. He's never gone to juvi or anything, not that you knew of. He always kept to himself, which is why you were insanely confused at his sudden interest in your conversation.
