Chapter 18: Gone Part 3

Thomas's P.O.V.
I woke up to the sound of people talking. It was close, to close. I opened my eyes and saw Chris and the woman leaning over me. "Well, look who's awake." Chris said in a mocking tone. I tried to get up and run but I couldn't. I was to weak. "Oh your not getting away that easly, not again." Chris said with a smirk. He and the woman grabbed me and started dragging me. I tried fighting back but I couldn't. I closed my eyes and concentrated on Thalia. 'Thalia.' I said in my head. A moment passed and she spoke. 'Thomas.' She said. 'Thalia. I need your help. They have me and there.....there.' Before I could finish Chris threw me to the ground. The connection broke and I opened my eyes. "Now none of that nonces. We can't have Kara finding out were you are now can we?" Chris said with a smirk. All I wanted to do was punch him in the face. "What do you want?" I asked him. "Isn't it obvious. I want you dead." He said with a serious expression.
Thalia's P.O.V.
"Find him, search everywhere, search all night if you have to. Chris hates Thomas, he won't hesitate to kill him!" Kara yelled at her guards. People were running around grabbing supply's. Flashlights, tents, blankets, and food. Newt talking broke me out of my thoughts. "You up for this?" He asked me. I looked at him. "He's my brother, I'd do anything for him." I told Newt. Ten minutes passed and we were ready to go. We ran out of the building and started out search for Thomas.
Thomas's P.O.V.
"There going to come for him. Kara has a love for the boy. She's not going to give up until she finds him." A woman's voice said waking me up. I laid silent with my eyes closed so I could listen in on there conversation. "I know, which is why we need to start moving. I don't care were we go, as long as it's not here." I heard Chris say. "What about him? We can't just leave him here." The woman said. "Kelsey, your new, and you don't know the rules so listen closely. Rule number 1, survive. Rule number 2, revenge. And rule number 3, kill. I heard the woman sigh. "I know, it's just...he's so young. I don't think I have it in me to leave him out hear to die." She told him. "Kelsey, I've told you this a million times, he's the enemy. If he got a chance he would kill us without hesitation." Chris told her. "I just don't see how someone this young and fragile could kill all of us." She told him. "Do you see these cut marks on my neck, he forced my boss to do this, to almost kill me. No matter what you think he's evil. Either your on our side, or your on his." Chris said. I could hear him walk away. That's when I felt someone kneel down next to me. I felt a gentle shake and I slowly opened my eyes, still weak. I looked up and saw a girl with long brown hair and light blue eyes. She was pretty but I felt nothing towards her. "I...I brought you some food. I thought you might be hugry." She explained. She couldn't have been more right. It had been days sense I had something to eat and drink. I looked next to me and saw a couple granola bars, a water bottle, and a sandwich. I slowly sat up with Kelsey's help. "Thanks." I mumbled weakly. She nodded then grabbed the water bottle and handed it to me. I opened it and the moment the cold water entered my mouth I felt some of my strength slowly returning. We sat in silence wile I ate until finally I said something. "You do know I'm not evil, right?" I asked her. She looked at me with no expression. "That's not what Chris tells me." She said and looked forward again. "Then Chris lied." I told her. "He's my leader. Even if he did lie, I still have to trust him, if I don't, he'll kill us....both of us." She told me. "He's gonna kill me anyways, I just wish I could have said goodbye to my sister." I told her truthfully. This time she looked at me. "You have a sister?" She asked. I nodded. "Yeah. I miss her. She's my only family left. Well that I know of." I told her. She looked at me with a hurt expression. That's when I knew I had gotten to her. She wanted to help me. She wasn't like the others. She wasn't ruthless or crazy, in fact, she was the exact opposite. She had a heart.
