Chapter 30: The Womans Attack

I walked into our room just as the sun started to come up. The boys were still asleep so I sat down on my bed waiting for them to wake up. After a couple minutes they did. Minho was the first, then Newt, Winston, Jay, and then everyone else. "Thomas?" Minho asked obviously surprised to see me. I looked up at him. "Where were you? When did you get back?" He asked. "I just went for a run, I got back a couple minutes ago." I told them. "You ran all night?" Newt asked. I nodded. Minho's gaze fell to my shirt and I looked down. I saw blood. 'Graze.' I instantly thought. "Thomas?" Minho asked in a shaky voice. "What did you do?" He asked me. "Nothing." I told him my eyes going wide when I realized what he thought happened. "I didn't do anything." I said truthfully. He was about to say something else when Kara came rushing into the room. "Thomas! Run!" She yelled running over to me. I didn't move I just stood up and stared at the door. A couple seconds laster a person ran into the room. He was bleeding purple. "Thomas." He growled and walked over to me. He was about to punch me but I grabbed his hand and bent it backwards. He screamed and dropped to his knees. "What do you want with me? I let you guys leave!" I yelled. He groaned but spoke anyway. "Yeah! Then why did an animal attack half our group!?" He yelled back with clenched teeth. I let go of him. He was talking about Graze. "We didn't send him." I said calming down slightly. "Yeah, then how did you know it was a him?" The man asked. "I....." I said but stopped my self. "Exactly." The man said. "Look it doesn't matter. We didn't send him. He came....looking for me." I told him. The mans expression went from anger to confusion. "What do you mean he came looking for you?" He asked. I was about to answer when my ears perked up. "I said stand down! We are not doing this?! He spared us! We are not just going to ruin that by attacking!" I heard Chris yell. "Yes we are! I don't care if he kills us, just as long as he comes with us." A girls voice said. I instantly recognized her. It was the girl that attacked Thalia. "Get Thalia and Kelsey, were leaving." I ordered not taking my eyes off the door. A couple guards ran out of the room and returned shortly after with a confused Thalia and Kelsey. "I'll explain later, right now we need to get out of here." I told them. They nodded and I started leading the way to the back door. I had discovered it when I was running.
We walked all the way there in silence until finally we made it. "Where does it lead?" Winston asked. "Outside." I told him. I turned the door knob but it was locked. I turned towards them. "You might want to step back." I said and turned back towards the door. I could hear movement behind me and I knew they fallowed my orders. I put my hands on the door and screamed. It crashed to the ground in a matter of seconds. "Your getting good at that." Thalia commented. "Thanks." I said and ran out of the door. I almost instantly stopped and faces came into view. The first one I saw was the woman smirking. I looked behind her and saw Chris looking down. He didn't want to hurt us and I knew that. "Well hello Thomas." The woman said with a smile. I smiled as I came up with a plan. "Hello Miss. Crazy." I said with a smirk. She glared at me. I could tell she was about to attack so I screamed. In a matter of seconds I heard a roar. Graze. I could hear him running towards us and finally he came into view. He ran up next to me and stood ready to pounce. "What the..." She started. Graze growled shutting her up. "Graze..." I started not taking my eyes off of her. "Get Chris." I ordered. He did as I said and walked over to Chris nudging him towards me. Chris moved to stand on the other side of me. He faced me and I did the same to him. "I didn't plan this. I didn't want this to happen. She took over the group." He started explaining. I stopped him before he could continue ranting. "I know. I heard you. You want peace, just like us." I told him. He nodded. I turned back towards the woman. She had a shocked look on her face. I walked over to Graze and jumped on his back. "Leave. And don't come back." I told the woman. "Anyone who wants to stay, can." I told them. The woman didn't move but all of her people did. She was alone. I nodded forward and Graze started running. As we passed the woman I grabbed her hand and pulled her up with us. I yelled at Graze to run faster and he listened.
We passed the mountains and Graze continued running for about three hours. Finally I told him to stop and he did. I pushed the woman off. She quickly got up and stared at me. "Leave. Never come back. If you do, I will kill you." I told her. Gaze started running back to the base once again.
