Chapter 28: The Fall

I walked into our room and sat down on my bed. That's when I heard Thalia's voice in my head. 'Thomas, are you okay?' She asked. I looked up at her and nodded. "What happened back there?" Minho asked. My gaze fell on him then everyone else. "I don't know, but if he was telling the truth and Chris really did kick him out of his so called group, we need to find out why." I told them. Some nodded and others stood silent waiting for my order. "We can interrogate him tomorrow, right now get some sleep." I told them and laid down on my bed. The others fallowed my orders and laid down. Thalia, Kara, and Kelsey took there spots on the floor. I closed my eyes and almost instantly fell asleep.
"Thomas!" I heard someone yell. "Thomas wake up!" I recognized the voice. Thalia. I tried to open my eyes but I was to weak. "Thomas! Wake up dammit!" I heard a boys voice yell. Newt. I groaned as pain rushed throughout my body. "Thomas!" Thalia yelled louder then before. "Thomas! Wake up!" Newt yelled. I slowly opened my eyes and I instantly felt a coolness in them. That's when they went back to normal. I blinked a couple of times before I finally saw what was going on. Everyone surrounded me and I was on the floor. I had no memory of what happened. "Help him up and put him on the bed." Newt ordered. Two boys walked up to me and helped me up then sat me down on my bed. My body aced at the sudden movement and I had to bit my tongue to stop my self from screaming. I felt my eyes go icy again but once they sat me down it stopped. "What happened?" I asked my voice raspy. "You don't remember?" Minho asked. I shook my head. "You just started screaming and rolling around. Your eyes were open so we knew you were awake but you wouldn't talk to us. You just kept screaming. You fell to the floor, hit you head then passed out. We've been trying to wake you up for an hour." Thalia explained looking at me with a worried expression. I sighed and rubbed the back of my head. I could fell blood. I pulled my hand away and looked at it to see it was glowing blue. "Come with me." Kara said and helped me stand. We walked out of the room and into another just down the hall. She opened the door and I saw a bed. "You can rest here. Take as long as you want. When your ready you can go back to your room. But for right now I think it would be best if you had some rest. I'll send a doctor in and he can look at your injury. Just hang tight." Kara told me and left the room. I couldn't have agreed more. I walked over to the bed and laid down. My head was pounding and it took all of my energy not to scream. I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep. I heard the door open but I didn't open my eyes, that's when I was surrounded by darkness.
I woke up to the sound of people talking. "He's okay. He has a small concussion but he'll be okay. Just give him some time. But what ever you do don't be to loud. Loud noises could cause him to go into shock." A mans voice said. I could tell he was the doctor. I opened my eyes and saw no one was in the room. That's when I realized it was coming from down the hall. "What if he does go into shock?" I heard Thalia ask. There was a long silence until finally the doctor spoke again. "We would do everything we could to save him." He told them. "Can we see him." Newt asked. "Yeah go ahead just remember be careful not to be to loud." The doctor reminded them. I closed my eyes as a wave of pain washed over me. I heard the door open and people walk in. "Thomas?" I heard Thalia ask in lowered voice. I opened my eyes slowly and groaned. I looked around and saw everyone in the room. I sighed. My head started to pound again and all I wanted was the go back to sleep. "Tommy?" Newt asked in a general voice. I looked at him to Thalia to Minho. Everything hurt. It felt like I was dying. All of my previous injuries burned making me close me eyes. My shoulder, my side, my arm, and my head. It was like all of my injuries were growing worse. I opened my eyes once me and saw I was glowing blue. This time brighter then before. I closed my eyes once more and darkness took me for the second time that day.
