Chapter 31: Ryans Revenge

When we arrived at the base the sun had already started disappeared. Yet everyone was still outside. I ordered Graze to stop in front of them and he did as I asked. "She gone." I announced. "What did you do with her?" Someone asked. "I took her beyond the mountains and let her go." I explained. "How far beyond the mountains?" Another person asked. "Three hours worth. And let's just say Graze runs fast." I said and patted Graze on the back. He laid down and I got off. Graze stood back up and gave me one last look before running back to the mountain. "What was that thing?" Newt asked. "A Razor." I explained. Newt looked at me confused but he just shook it off. "Let's go inside." Kara said. I took the lead and did as she asked taking the boys back to there room. I closed the door and laid down almost instantly falling asleep.
'Thomas you need to be prepared. Something's coming. Someone's coming. He's going to kill Thalia. You need to stop him. No matter what.' I opened my eyes and sat straight up. I knew the voice from somewhere I just didn't know from where. I let out a ragged breath and stood up. I walked to the door and opened it. I then knocked on Thalia's. she answered to door and gave me a small smile but it soon faded. "You okay?" She asked. "Yeah, I just wanted to see you. Make sure you were okay." I explained not telling her about my dream. She nodded and let me in. Her room was as big as ours. It had hundreds of beds lined up. I could tell which one was Thalia's almost instantly. It was messed up. I turned towards her and she smiled slightly. "It must be nice having a room all to your self." I said with a smirk. "It kind of is but I get lonely." She told me. I laughed. Before we could say anything else we heard an alarm blaring. We exchanged looks before running out of the room to be greeted by the boys doing the same. "What is that?" A boy asked over all of the commotion. For some reason he looked at me. "I think we're under attack." I said slightly. I closed my eyes and listened for anything other then the alarm. That's when I heard people talking. "We have to kill her. We have to kill Thalia. It's the only way to get to him. It's the only way to get to Thomas." A mans voice said. That's when I recognized who it was. It was Ryan. I opened my eyes and looked at Thalia with a worried expression. "What?" She asked. "We need to go. Now!" I yelled and ran to the back door. I pushed it open and ran outside with everyone fallowing. I could hear people asking me questions but I ignored them. I had to get Thalia to safety. No matter what. I finally stopped running and turned towards the base. It was a couple hundred yards away. I then looked at Thalia. "It's Ryan." I told them. "What?" Newt asked. "Ryan's plain was to attack us." I told them. "Why?" Thalia asked. "To get to me." I said. That's when I heard footsteps from behind me. "Hey!" A mans voice yelled. Ryan's.
I turned around as fast as I could. That's when I saw the gun. I looked into Ryan's eyes. They were full of pain and anger. "I was going to kill Thalia to get you to come after me so I could kill you, but this is so much more fun." He said shaking the gun slightly. "Why are you doing this?" I asked strongly. "You banished my mother! I should have killed you when I got the chance!" He yelled. That's when I realized Ryan's mom was the girl that attacked us. "Ryan don't do this." Minho told him. "Shut up!" Ryan yelled. Minho took a step forward. That's when Ryan took the safety off the gun. "I will shoot him! You come and closer and he gets a bullet to the heart!" He yelled putting the gun up against my chest. "I've already been through hell. So give it your best shot. Not only will I survive, I'll win." I said with clenched teeth. Ryan took a step back. Then he fired.
