**A few months later**

I had just entered Hyrule after existing the Kokiri Forrest. I was admiring Lake Hylia when all of a sudden I heard a noise.

BANG. BANG. BANG.

Suddenly, the sky darkned and thunder boomed. I turned around and saw Ganandorf riding on his black horse. I run towards him on my trusty steed, Epona, but as soon as I reached him, he vanished. Just then, I heard the noise again.

BANG. BANG. BANG. REBECCA!!

I woke up.

I realized my brother, Anthony, was banging on my door and calling my name. I tried to answer, even though I was still half a sleep. "What?.." I yelled back, a little confused, as usual after exiting a dream.

Anthony opened the door. "Get up!" he said with a rise and shine attitude, "School won't wait for you to start."

I wish it would, I thought.

Anthony came over to my bed and started pulling on my arm to get me up. By this point he was enjoying himself as he was purposely annoying me in a brotherly way. Plus he was probably happy he didn't have to get up and do school, since he graduated last year, and he didn't have to leave for college for another three weeks.

"I'm too tired..." I moaned.

"Aw, come on," he said, "You're a senior now, you can't be late."

"Why not?" I asked.

"Because," Anthony answered, "all the freshmans look up to you so you have to set a good example and be the stick the mud," he continued, joking.

"Fine," I said with a half grunt, half smile. "Give me five minutes."

As much as Anthony annoys me from time to time, I'm really gonna miss him when he finally leaves for college. I honestly don't know how I'm gonna survive around the house without him. I'm gonna ball my eyes out; that is, if school doesn't keep my busy enough to take my mind off of it.

I got up, got dressed, and came down stairs. I expected Anthony to be at the table eating breakfast, but there was only my dad and my mom.

"Where's Anthony?" I asked.

"I think he went back to bed," my dad replied, as he skimmed whatever he was reading on his laptop.

I rolled my eyes. Sure, I thought. Make a big deal about getting me up than go back to bed yourself. Typical Anthony. I couldn't help but smile a little.

I quickly ate my breakfast, brushed my teeth, grabbed my bag, and said goodbye to my parents. I walked outside and was about to unlock my car, when I felt someone sneak up behind me, grabbing me by the waist.

"Morning," Martin said with a smile before hugging me.

"Martin!" I half screamed. "You startled me!"

He chuckled a little. "You're late. I thought you were gonna miss school today." He took a quick glance at his watch. "Actually, we're both going to be late if we don't leave soon."

I quickly looked at my phone. "Oh crap. We really are gonna be late. Let's go. I'll see you there," I said as I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Wait," he said, grabbing my arm. "Want me to give you a ride? We're practically neighbors, no sense in taking two cars when we live so close." Martin lived a couple houses down from mine. I could actually see his backyard while standing in mine.
