Lucy's POV

If what Liam said was true, two guys from O2L were interested in me. I hadn't been in a relationship since eleventh grade. I was a little scared. Starbucks wasn't that far away so we arrived pretty quickly.

"Can I have a tall Caramel Brulèe Latte?"

"Of course, would you like whipped cream?"

"Yes, please."

All of the boys and Liam were talking. Connor saw me waiting alone and came over to me.

"Hey," he said shyly.

"Hi," I smiled.

"What did you get?"

"Um... a caramel brulèe latte," his eye looked so green. (A/N: after reviewing I realized I messed this up, but I think I'm gonna leave it because it amuses you guys 'eyes' sowee kaibai)

"I got that, too!"

"Tall caramel brulèe latte with whipped cream," said the Starbucks worker. I took the warm coffee out of her hands. I started to walk over to where the rest of the boys were, but Connor escorted me to a table isolated from them.

"First, I'm going to need to post a picture of our twinningness on instagram," he laughed and whipped out his iPhone. I set my latte down on the table and smiled in the background.

"That's a really good picture," I said taking his phone out of his hands. The picture looked amazing. When I looked back at him I saw him looking at the tattoo behind my ear. I didn't want to explain that, especially not that night, so I took my hair out from behind my ears.

"Post it," I smiled.

"Okay..."

And it was on Instagram for the world to see.

"So tell me about you," Connor said putting down his phone.

"What do you want to know?" I said sipping my latte.

"I dunno, uh... what are you going to college for?"

"Well, I don't really know yet, but I want to someday write and illustrate my own book."

"Ooh, you like to draw?"

"Draw, paint... yeah, pretty much."

Connor looked at my hands which were covered in little drawings.

"Yeah, you like to draw," he said picking up my hand and examining all of the drawings.

Oh my god. He is holding my hand. When he realized what he was doing he casually let go.

"So, an author?" he said trying to pretend he didn't hold my hand.

"Yeah, but my dream is to travel the world. You know, look at all the art."

"Where would you go first?"

"Milan, it's my dream to see-"

"-the last supper," Connor interrupted.

"Yeah, before it fades completely."

"That sounds awesome, I would love to travel the world," Connor sighed.

"Really! Where do you want to go?"

"Everywhere..."

"Imagine, though. Meeting new people, seeing parts of the world you didn't know could be so beautiful."

"Exactly."

I felt like Connor understood me, even if he didn't know my past. He made me completely forget that today was that horrible day.
