Chapter 9 - Brosiyus

-MYRNA'S PoV-

I am lying here at a dark room here at best's grandma's house. Rain still drops accompanied by some lightning and thunder.

I am thinking about what happened this past few moments where they burnt my phone and it never failed to make me laugh again. I just can't help but to keep laughing. Who would ever dare to burn a phone? Those folks were just, amazing. Really amazing! But the sad part is that, how can I contact my brother? Uhm yeah, Jasmine got a phone. I just wish that there is a network coverage here.

I sighed deeply. I suddenly remember dad, thinking him never really do fail to bring me sadness. How did he become a vampire? How can I bring him home in that kind of situation? I saw some cloud which blurred my vision then my tears dropped.

"Hmm..." best moaned as she rolled to face the other side of the bed. We're lying on the same wooden bed by the way. Well, my father was not just a great scientist but also a great inventor. He made us a solar powered power bank and a locator compass. My tears multiplied as I thought about those things.

My dad, he even received thousands of awards for his contribution to physics, and one day, he went away to do some study and researchs, then he's gone. Hes's been missing for three years now and I didn't expect I'm gonna saw him in that strange situation. I took a deep breath, trying not to sob.

Luckily, I found strange people. Doveia and Nhero. At first of course I planted them a doubt when they saved me on that forest filled with human-eating-plants but then, they showed me they were good. Or maybe that parrot's glowing light did. Can they help me with my dad?

Another clouds blurred my vision but this time, I didn't hold my sobs. I felt best moved and hugged me. She's still asleep. I am so blessed to have her.

"Good morning eaarthh!" hmm, tsarap! Nandito ako ngayon sa bakuran ni lola. Nag uunat-unat. Err ang lamiig ng hangin. Dala siguro ng ulan kagabi. Speaking of kagabi, hahaha ang epic nila lolo Tonyo dun sa cellphone! Nag-unat ulit ako. Tulog pa sina lola at best eh.

May nakita naman ako'ng parang tornado na kasing laki ng tao pero kulay brown pagkatapos ay may iniluwa itong kulay brown din na balahibo ng ibon. Unti-unting nawala ang usok at pumorma ang hugis ng isang tao. Tumingin siya sakin ng malamig, kasing lamig nitong umaga. Pero ang mga mata niya ay tila hindi pa nakakatulog.

"Ayos ka lang ba?" panimula niya.

"Eh?" nagtataka kong sambit.

"Hayaan mo at pagbabayaran ni Doroles ang ginawa niya sa 'yo," malamig parin niyang tugon. Teka nga, papano niya nalaman?

"Concern ka noh? Yiehh!" kyaah! Kinikilig ako!

"Tss..." saad niya tsaka binalot ulit siya ng brown na tornado tsaka nawala. Pero mula sa kinatatayuan niya kanina ay may nakita ako'ng dahon na kulay pula. Dinampot ko ito, ay wait may nakasulat eh.
