I'll Be Back ~ Riley+Farkle

First Day

BZZZZ BZZZZ , my alarm for 7am went off. I got up and got changed into a black tee, jeans and my black Ralph shoes. I looked the part. I was excited to see Riley again, and also to see Maya,Lucas and Zay since 2 years ago.

I went downstairs and ate a bowl of Coco Pops, then I went to go wake Jennifer up.

I went into her room and it looked like she had already gotten up. I walked back into the dining room, and saw a note on the floor, I must have knocked it off when I sat down. It said;

"Farkle, I had to start work early, I'll be home around 4, I've bought some more bread if you want a sandwich to take to school, I've put some money in your bag anyway, just in case you want to buy a big lunch at school. Also make sure you have tided your room and turned your lamp off. Thanks, Mum! Xxx"

A very long note, Mother...

As soon as I read the note, I went into my room and tided it and also turned the lamp off. I went into the kitchen and made a ham sandwich, I love ham. I put it into a container and shoved it into my bag. I put my phone in my pocket and started to walk to school.

Abigail Adams was only a 15 minute walk from me, I don't mind walking everyday, unless Jennifer could drop me there if she doesn't go into work early. I got in there and saw all the big kids around, it was a lot like my old school back in England. I walked in and saw Maya sitting on a bench kind of thing. She saw me and gasped.

"Is that Farkle Minkus?!?" Maya shouted as I nodded and we ran towards each other and hugged. "You're back!"

"Yeah." I said with a smile.

"How come?"

"Well two things, my mum got offered her new job back, and we got evicted from our home..."

"Oh, well at least you're back now, have you seen Riley yet? She's missed you a lot, you know." She said as I nodded.

"Her and Topanga came over to my new house yesterday, she's told me everything." I said as Maya looked confused.

"What about Billy and Sarah? I can't-"

"And about the triangle." I said as she put her head down.

"Things have changed a lot, Farkle." She said as I hugged her.

"Everything will be okay, I promise." I said as Maya pulled out the hug and wiped her tear away.

"So, apart from my love life, have you been with any girls?" She said as I stumbled for words.

"No." I hesitated.

"You hesitated, who's the lucky girl?" She said as we sat down on the bench together.

"I haven't been with anyone, but I..."

"You what? C'mon, tell me Farkle!" Maya said with excitement.

"I like someone."

"Who?! Is it someone from your old school?" She asked as I laughed.

"No, she goes here."

"Omg! I might know her!" Maya said as I laughed again.

"You know her more than anyone." I said as she looked at the floor and then back at me.

"Riley?" She whispered as I nodded slightly. Maya screamed and hugged me. "Farkle you dog"

"Don't tell her. I've only just got back."

"Okay I promise." I said as I pulled out the hug and I stood up and turned around to see Lucas and Zay. "Lucas! Zay!" I shouted as they looked at me.

"Farkle?" Zay said as he looked at Lucas.

"Farkle!" Lucas said as him and Zay high-fived me. "How you doing?"

"Great, how are you guys?"

"We are great, now that you're here." Zay said as I smiled.

"Have you seen Riley? She's missed you a-"

"Yes I have and I know how much she's missed me." I said as Lucas smiled.

Then I heard someone shout "Hey guys!" It was Riley. Her hair was down and some of it was in a bun at the top, and she wore a yellow-flowery dress with a brown cardigan and she wore her brown tassel shoes. Oh how I love Riley's fashion sense, to die for. I hugged Riley and we all sat down on the bench and talked about the last two years.

And then at the moment, I remembered something.
