Reunion

I stayed at the top of the stairs because I was too nervous to come down. I watched Jennifer open the door.

"Topanga!!!" Jennifer said as she hugged her and she looked behind Topanga and there she was... Riley Matthews. She looked so beautiful... I couldn't get tired of looking at her. Her hair was still brown, all out and curly. She wore no makeup... like a natural beauty. And she was wearing a white simple top with a black skirt and black pumps. "Riley baby!" Jennifer said as she hugged her.

"Where's Farkle?" Riley said. The fact that she wanted to know where I was, stunned me. I ran to the top of the stairs where she could see me.

"I'm right here, sunshine." I said as she looked towards me and smiled.

"Farkle!!" She said as she ran to the stairs and I ran down too. We ran towards each other and hugged. It was a very long hug...

"Right I'll leave you guys to reunite, nice seeing you Farkle." Topanga said as I nodded.

"Dinner will be ready in 20 minutes!" Mum said as me and Riley walked into my room and sat on my bed.

"Dank room Minkus." She said as I laughed.

"I told you I'd come back, eventually." I said as she smiled and gave me a hug. "I've missed you and all your hugs, Riles."

"I've missed you too." She said as she pulled out the hug.

"So, tell me. How is everybody? Maya, Lucas, everybody!" I said as Riley's face changed. "What's up?"

"Some things have changed, Farkle." Riley said as she looked at me.

"Okay... start from the beginning."

"Well... you remember Billy right?"

"Yeah." I said.

"Well he turned into a bully once you left... he left our friendship group to become a gangster, so he said." She said. "He started bullying Maya and me, it got really bad that he got thrown out of school, then he moved back to his hometown about a month after."

"Oh no... is that all that's happened?" I said as Riley laughed a little.

"There's so much more..." Riley said.

"Okay..." I said as I moved closer to her.

"Well... It was just me, Maya, Lucas, Zay and Sarah for a while but then when we had to go to High School, Sarah had to go to a different school that was closer to her, so we haven't seen her since. And then... the triangle happened..."

"What do you mean by triangle?" I said.

"A love triangle. Between Lucas, Maya and Zay."

"What, they liked each other?"

"Still do."

"Please, explain."

"Well... it all started in High School. Lucas admitted to liking Maya all these years..."

"Maya you dog..." I said as Riley laughed.

"And then Zay admitted to liking Maya for only a few months..."

"Right. Did she choose?" I asked.

"Well, she likes both and they have been in this awkward triangle since. And yeah... that's all that's happened."

"Have you been involved with any boys?" I asked.

"No. no one would like me or even love me..."

"Don't say that. You're beautiful." I said as she froze and stared at me for a while. We both leaned forward, our lips were about to touch until...

"Riley! Farkle! Dinner's ready!" Topanga shouted as we both jumped up and looked at each other. Riley ran out the room and I ran after her.

We got the dinner table and I sat next to Topanga and Riley sat next to Jennifer.

"So guys, did you catch up well?" Topanga said as me and Riley looked each other.

"Yeah." We said at the same time. I ate my dinner fast because Riley was almost done. After I finished, me and Riley went back to my room and Riley sat on my bed.

"Riley?"

"Yes, Farkle?" She said as I walked closer to her.

"I'm sorry for... what happened, eariler." I said as I put my head down.

"What happened?" She said as I lifted my head and I gave her a 'really' look. "Oh... the almost k-"

"Was it really an almost kiss? Or was it... something else?"

"What do you mean?" She asks as I sat next to her.

"Why would you want to kiss me?"

"I-I, I don't know. Farkle." She said as I smiled. "Hey... do you still remember when I taught you to dance at that school dance?" When she said that, it reminded me of all my old childhood feelings I had for her... and I realised... I still had those feelings for her...

"Yeah... I remember." I said as she smiled and stood up and offered her hand.

"Let's see." She said as she took my hand and pulled my body against hers, we are skin-close, let's see if I remember the moves...
