Nightmare Before Christmas Part 3

{Riley's POV}

I'm sitting beside him. He's just laying there, with his eyes closed. Bruises all over his face, a couple scars on his head. I can't believe I left him like this...

3 hours eariler...
I decided to walk to Svorski's after Farkle came round, mainly to get some time away from everyone, and mainly to speak to Charlie too. I walked in and saw Charlie being arrested by police and Farkle on the floor, unconscious. I told the police that Farkle was my boyfriend, even though he isn't... I had to go with him!

We got into the ambulance and I saw the blood dripping from the top of his forehead. I couldn't help but cry, I decided to tell him his favourite poem he loved hearing when he sad or upset;

"Sometimes we're lonely,
sometimes we're down,
Our feelings are obvious,
they're right in our frown.

We don't want to talk,
or sit and explain,
Nobody would like it,
if they felt the same pain.

But just remember that you're
intelligent and kind,
A person like you,
is so hard to find.

forever it's true."

I don't know why he loved the poem so much... Maybe it reminded him of somebody?

Back to present time.
I start crying again. Until...

"We came as soon as we heard." Lucas said as him, Smackle and Zay were standing at the door. Where was Maya?

"Where's Maya?" I asked.

"She's just gone to get us all coffee." Smackle said I nodded. I looked back at Farkle, and I stroked his hair back. Smackle sat on my left, with Lucas next to her. Zay sat on the other side of Farkle's bed.

"We broke up today." I said as everyone's eyes were glued on me.

"What?" Smackle said.

"Why?" Zay said.

"We don't like breaks. We decided to break up for a while after everything with Charlie-"

"Do you still love him, Riley?" Lucas asked me as I looked at him.

"What do you think? Of course I do!" I said, looking back at Farkle. Then Maya came in, and had to sit next to Zay, which was awkward for them. I took my coffee and downed it since I hadn't eaten or drank that much all day.

"Slow down Riles." Maya said as I told her everything about me and Farkle breaking up. "Don't worry Riles, as soon as he wakes up, we'll make this all okay. I promise."

A few minutes later, a doctor walked in.

"Hello, I just rang Mr Minkus' parents and they are unable to attend but I told them the news." He said as we all got confused.

"What news?" Lucas asked.

"Farkle is in a coma. He will not wake up for a few weeks." The doctor said as he told everyone the details of how Farkle is in a coma. When the doctor explained everything, I couldn't hold back my tears. Maya hugged me and it eventually turned into a group hug.

1 week later.
It's been a week since Farkle has been in a coma. I've been visiting him, but that was before Christmas. Christmas was 3 days ago aswell... I felt awful I couldn't text him Merry Christmas or I love you.

It's the 28th and I've gone to see Farkle, and maybe he'll be on the mend.

"Hey Fark." I said as Farkle's bruises seemed to have healed since I saw him last on Christmas Eve. He still looks handsome, even in bed. "I wish I could have spent my Christmas with you, I could have reminded you when we met, when we fell in love, the dance... oh the good times."

The doctor walked in and told me that Farkle was healing well, but they don't know how long he'll stay in the coma. The doctor left and I had to leave, I kissed Farkle's forehead and whispered;

"As soon as you wake up, we will work something out, start dating and get back together." I said as I left.

{Farkle's POV}

Still in the coma.

"And do you Farkle David Minkus take thee Riley Eleanor Matthews, to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do." I said as Riley smiled at me. I felt so happy here. We were both 25 years old. We just got married. And we have a child; Eloise Minkus.

Things in this life changed quite frequently, one moment I was marrying Riley. The next time would skip another few years, I kept up with everything. I loved life. I never want to lose Riley. Ever. Ever. Again.
