I woke up with Riley asleep by my side. I smile at her, knowing she's next to me, not leaving my side.

It's Riley's birthday in 3 days, and I need to get her presents. I've gotten most of them, but I need to get a certain present that she'll love forever.

I get my phone and walk into the kitchen, I dial ZayBae on my phone and call it.

"Sup man." He answered.

"Hey, I just wondered if you wanted to go ring shopping with me." I said as there's a silence over the phone. "For Riley."

"Ohhh. I was going to say! Yeah, what time do you wanna go?" He asked as I looked at the time; 10:20am.

"I'm going to see my parents first, so I'll call you after, okay?" I said.

"Okay Man. See you soon."

"Bye bitch." I said, hanging up.

I walk back into the bedroom and walk over to Riley, I shake her so she wakes up.

"Farkle." Riley moans.

"Riley I'm going to go and see Jennifer and Stuart, and then I'm going to meet Zay, I'll be home later okay?"

"Okay." She moans, with her eyes still closed. I kissed her cheek and started to get ready.

I took a quick shower and put on some causal clothes. By 11am I was out of my house and driving to my parents house, I needed to talk to them about me marrying Riley. I wanted some advice of them. Maybe they'll help me decide if this is the right thing to do. I knocked on the door and Jennifer opened up.

"Farkle!" She said.

"Hi mom." I replied as she throws her arms around me and hugs me tight.

"I wasn't expecting you today! I know we saw each other like... 3 days, 1 hour and 47 minutes ago but-"

"Mom, I'm fine." I said as she pulls away from the hug.

"Do you want to come in?" She asks.

"Is dad home?" I ask.

"Really? You come home and you want to see your father-"

"No actually. I want to speak to the both of you." I said as my mom tilts her head.

"What's the matter sweetie?" She asks as I walk through the door. "I'll put the kettle on."

"Oh. My. God." My mom said, laying back into her chair. I finished my tea as my hands started to get shaky. "THIS IS A BRILLIANT IDEA FARK!"

"Really?" I say.

"Well if you want to marry Riley, by all means, go for it son." She said.

"Thank you mom." I said.

"When Stuart comes home, I'll tell him the good news and then I'll have him ring you as soon as possible." She said as I smiled.

"Thank you." I said, getting up.

"Where are you off to today?" She asks, sipping on her coffee.

"Well I have to visit someone then I'm going to meet Zay for ring shopping, and then go see Riley." I replied.

"Okay have fun sweetie."

I arrive at the next place I have to be. There is no one around, it's not night-time, but all the surroundings make it a dark place.

I walk through and I stand infront of him.

Died on November 7th 2019
Car crash corrupted his bones and unfortunately he has passed, but he will never be forgotten.

"Hi sir." I said. "Me and you got along very well as far as I remembered. We never had one problem, I know you aren't around anymore, but I want to take care of Riley for the rest of her life. I want to protect her from the storms at night, all the dramas that crash onto us, and I want to have children with her. So I hope you don't mind if I ask for her hand in marriage."

I well up as I walk away from the tombstone. I remember the day I heard about the crash.

FLASHBACK

"Farkle? Where's Riley?!" I answered the call to a frightened Topanga.

"She's right next to-"

"PUT HER ON THE PHONE!" She interrupted as I passed the phone to Riley.

Riley put it on loud speaker as we heard what had happened.

Cory and Topanga had gone out to get some stuff from the local supermarket and a nearby car has rammed into the back of his car on the motorway. Cory had broke down on the side so they stayed off the road. Then a nearby car struck the two of them, but leaving only one of them alive.

The crash had happened two days before as both Topanga and Cory were unconscious but Topanga survived.

PRESENT TIME

Where is Topanga now? She went off with another guy called Shawn, they're together but doesn't bother visiting me and Riley. Sometimes she calls but it's only at Christmas or Thanksgiving, and once for Riley's birthday. I get back into my car and I text Zay.
