Scorpius P.O.V

I paced back and forth awaiting to meet my husband to be at the altar. We were to be married in less than ten minutes and I was scared as hell. I loved him. I loved him so much that it even hurt sometimes but I always had my doubts.

Albus was a great guy but he was never overly affectionate. It took him even a few months to kiss me. It's just how he was raised but I had this irrational fear in the back of my mind that he found me repulsing. It panicked me to no end. But he was the one who actually proposed to me and I was so shocked. I thought he was joking at first but he just smiled and told me that I was the one he wanted forever with. I cried a lot that night, tears of joy of course.

There was a knock at the door so I told them to come in out of instinct.

"Wow, you look gorgeous." My head whipped at the sound of my fiancé's voice. He was dressed in a nearly all black tuxedo and his green eyes sparkled with admiration.

"Albus! You're not supposed to see me before the wedding." I chastised. He just rolled his eyes and walked over to me.

"I thought that was only a rule for heterosexuals." He smirked. "I wanted to... no I needed to see you." He explained.

"Why?" I gulped.

"Would you stop worrying?" He teased. "I knew you'd be out of your mind crazy right now. You're such a Worrying Wendy." I looked down at my shoes.

"I'm just worried that you're gonna regret this." I whispered. I felt a hand on my chin making me look up. I looked into Albus' eyes and they were specked with unshed tears.

"Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, you are the love of my life and I wouldn't have asked you to marry me if I would regret it. You're my forever, you are my always and most importantly, you're my best friend. So are you ready to marry me or what?" He asked and I smiled. Screw tradition. I leaned in and kissed him ever so gently. To my surprise he kissed back with such desperation that made me realize he was just as nervous. It was then I realized that he was serious. After we pulled away and I saw tears slipping down his face, all my doubts went out the window. I wiped away the tears and he laughed.

"You're my forever and always too, Albus Severus Potter. Let's go get hitched." I told him and he smiled. We linked arms and left the room. Our lives as one was ready to begin.
