Part 3

*Pickup*

 Gabriel, Phil, Alison and I were all together. Everything felt right. "So who is Dan and when did everything start?" Gabriel asked as soon as we sat down. "Well, on the first day of school he decided I was the one he wanted to be rude to. He poured Ribena all over me, then during 6th period he kinda punched and kicked me but I'm fine" I explained. He obviously knew I was lying about being fine. "Take your makeup off please" he said. I just nodded and walked upstairs to take off my makeup, revealing my horribly bruised face. I walked downstairs with my head down and sat on the couch. "Let me see please" he sighed. I looked up and everyone gasped. "Can I please kill him?" Alison snarled. "I wish, but it's illegal" I sighed. "Awh, hun he's so rude. Do you want me to do anything?" Gabriel asked as he put his arm around my waist. "No thanks. I'm fine. I don't want him hurting you" I explained as I rested my head on his shoulder. "Bear, I hate seeing you like this. Do you wan't to come to my house tonight?" Phil asked. My mood immediately changed. "That would be good" I smiled. He smiled back. "Are you two dating?" Gabriel chuckled. "No we're just friends" Phil and I said in unison. "We need to stop doing that" we said together again.

*Timeskip Gabriel and Alison leaving*

 "Bye Al" I said and gave Alison hug before she left. She said goodbye and left. "I gotta go to. My mom just texted me" Gabriel sighed. "Okay, see you at school" I said and hugged him. "Bye" he said and hugged me back. Once he left Phil and I left to go to his house. 

*Timeskip to Phil's house*

 We walked in the front door of his house and his mum practically tackled us in a group hug. "Emma! It's so nice to see you love! What happened?! Are you alright?!" she asked as she looked at my face. "I'm fine. Just a few things at school. It's nice to see you as well" I smiled. "Aw I'm sorry. I'll bake you guys some biscuits (cookies). You can just go up to Phil's room and I'll bring them to you" she smiled and we thanked her then walked up to his room. "Get comfortable, you can put on your pajamas" he said. "Thanks Philly" I smiled and kissed his cheek. I walked the bathroom and changed into Pajama pants and a sports bra, basically my typical pajamas. I knocked on his door and he was already sat on his bed in his fuzzy pajama pants looking for a movie. "Hey bear, is The Nightmare Before Christmas good? I know it's one of your favorites" he asked. "Sounds great" I smiled and sat down next to him. 

 About 20 minutes into the movie, Phil's mum brought us the biscuits. "Thank you" we said cheerfully. "You're welcome" she smiled and walked out. A few minutes later I was shivering. "You cold love?" he asked. I nodded and he pulled the blankets over us. I laid my head on his chest as we continued to watch the movie. I slowly started to fall asleep. "Goodnight bear" he whispered and kissed my wrists and forehead. I fell peacefully into a deep sleep.

*Next Morning*

 I woke up to Phil lightly tapping my shoulder. "Morning. Is it already 7?" I asked sleepily. "It's 10. I'm keeping you home" he said warmly. My eyes widened. "Thank you so much!" I exclaimed and hugged him tightly. I saw a singular tear fall from his eye. "Lion whats wrong?" I asked. "Um. D-Darby. She's cheated on me" he said, attempting to keep in his emotions. "Oh my god I'm so sorry" I said a few tears escaped my eyes as well. I hugged him tightly and stroked his back. He hugged me tightly back. He let go for a second and I stood up and walked down to his kitchen. "Hey Emma" his mum said happily. "Are you feeling alright? Phil told me you weren't feeling to well. "Hi. Yes I'm feeling better now. I'm gonna make Phil some coffee of that's alright" I said. "Of course" she smiled and kissed the top of my head as she left the room. She was the sweetest person ever.

  I made Phil his coffee, just the way he liked it and I walked back upstairs. He was sat on the floor with his knees to his chest. "Phil, I brought you coffee" I cooed. "T-Thank you" he choked through tears. My heart ripped with anger and sadness. "I love you lion, it'll be okay. I promise" I said as tears streamed down my face. I can't stand to see him like this. "I love you to bear. Thank you so much" he sniffled. I laid my head on his shoulder and stroked his hair. I let him be alone for a bit so I walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth. The whole time I could only think about him. I took my phone and texted Darby

Emma: How could you?! 

Darby: Huh?

Emma: Don't act like you're oblivious! Who'd you cheat on Phil with!

Darby: Jackson

Emma: Why would you do that to Phil, he loved you!

Darby: Cause I can

With that, I turned off my phone and called Alison. She answered immediately. "H-Hello" she said, sounding like she's been crying. "I'm so sorry" I cried. "It's okay. I just feel bad for Phil" she sniffed. The call cut off and I'm guessing she had to hang up. I walked back to Phil's room and saw him sitting in his bed watching The Lion King. "Hey Lion" I said sitting down next to him. "Hi" he said. He must be feeling better. "You okay?" I asked. "Been better. I'm okay though. Thank you" he said, forcing a small smile. "Good. I'm glad you're feeling better" I said, half smiling. "I can't thank you enough. I love you so much, thank you for always being there for me. I'd do the same for you. You're an amazing friend" he said. "Same to you" I said, sniffling. I just hugged him, finally feeling safe. He's the only person I feel like I really need. He's my everything

Hey guys. I'm sorry this was sad. I'm not exactly feeling the happiest. I'm fine don't worry, just listening to sad music and it's making me a bit sad, but that's when I write the best. I love you guys so much and thank you for reading! Hope you like the book so far. Also, to the real Darby. I'm sorry, I know you'd never do that, it's just part of this story line. Maybe I'll include you in a different book ;)
