Why Me?- Bullied By Dan Howell Sequel

Part 4

*That night*

I walked downstairs and ordered Pizza. I couldn't stand seeing Phil like this. How could anyone ever do that? Especially when Phil was so loving, adorable, and just an all around amazing person. When the pizza came I carried it up to Phil's room. "Lion, I got you pizza" I said and sat next to him, placing the box in front of us. "Thanks bear" he said, forcing a small smile and laying his head on my shoulder. I stroked his hair and down his back. We continued eating pizza and watching various movies. Phil started falling asleep so I took the pizza box and put it in the kitchen fridge. My phone buzzed in my pocket. 

"Emma! Are you okay? Where are you? Why weren't you at school? Are you-" he started frantically. "Gabriel, I'm fine. I'm at Phil's" I explained. "Oh okay" he sighed in relief. "What happened at school?" I asked. "Nothing really, Dan got yelled at by Mr.White for not paying attention. So he replied 'Piss off' and continued scrolling through twitter" he said. "Wow, he's such an idiot" I scoffed. "Right" he replied. Phil called me from upstairs. "Gotta go. Love ya bye" I said and hung up. I ran upstairs. "Yeah Lion?" I said. "Can you stay here tonight. You have clothes here" he whispered. "Of course" I said and climbed into his bed with him. "Thank you bear, I love you" he quietly said and kissed the top of my head. "I love you more Lion. Goodnight" I said. He put an arm around me and hugged me tightly. Everything felt right. 

*Next Morning*

  My alarm went off blasting Carry On My Wayward Son. "Good morning bear" Phil said, handing me coffee. "Morning Lion" I yawned as I sat up. "How'd you sleep?" he asked. "Good, how about you" I asked back. "Pretty good" he smiled. "You seem to be feeling better" I smiled back. "Yep I am" he said cheerfully. "Awesome!" I said happily as I jumped up and hugged him. He hugged back. When we let go we each went to get clothes. I got a purple jumper, black leggings, and black vans. I put on light concealer and a light pink eye shadow. I curled my lashes and put on mascara. I then walked downstairs and sat next to Phil on the breakfast bar. "How's your coffee?" he asks before sipping the rest of his."It's perfect" I smiled. "Good" he smiled back. I finished my coffee and grabbed my book bag from the lounge. "Ready?" Phil asks as he opens the door. "Yep" I said and ran to the door. He motioned for me to go first. I walked out and waited for him. "Let's go" he smiled. I nodded and took his hand. 

*Timeskip to school*

 Phil and I walked in the school gates to be greeted by Gabriel. "Hey love" he smiled and hugged me. "Hey Gabriel" I answered.  Phil and Gabriel said hey to each other and we ll walked to our lockers. Phil had to get to class early to get makeup work. "Bye bear" he said and kissed my forehead. "Bye Lion" I said and hugged him. He then walked to class. I just opened my locker and grabbed my math book when Dan came over. "Hey" he smirked. I just rolled my eyes and tried to walk away. He shoved me back. Two guys walked over to him. "Mate, that's no way to treat a lady" the guy with bright green eyes and curly hair said, crossing his arms. "And you are?" Dan growled. "PJ, nice to make your acquaintance, I'll have to ask you to take your hands off her"he said firmly. "Who's your little boyfriend?" Dan asked motioning to the guy behind him. "This is my brother Chris. He's not exactly the type to mess with" PJ calmly said. "Nice to meet you" Chris said, his heavy northern accent filling his voice. 

 "Well PJ, and Chris. I'm gonna ask you to leave me and my girlfriend Emma alone" Dan growled. I just laughed. "Dan, I would never date anyone like you" I said and attempted to get out his grip. "Mr. Liguori and Mr. Kendall, please come back to the office so we can assign your schedules. As for you Mr. Howell. Please take your hands off Ms.Jacobson this instant" the headmaster said. "Sorry" Dan smirked. "See you in class beautiful" he said and kissed my cheek. I waited for the headmaster to turn away before I kneed him where the sun doesn't shine. "You're gonna pay for that" Dan groaned. "I'd like to see you try" I scoffed and walked to class. Dan shortly walked in after. 

*In class*

 I just talked to Gabriel while doing work. I told him about PJ and Chris. "What a jerk. I'm glad someone stood up for you, even though they're new" Gabriel sighed. "Yeah" I said, thinking about them. 

*Timeskip to Lunch*

"How'd today go so far?" Phil asked. "Pretty good" I said and explained everything that happened. PJ and Chris walked over to our table. "Hey, it's Emma right?"  PJ asks. "Yep, you're PJ" I smiled. "I'm really sorry about what Dan did to you" Chris said. "It's fine. It happens" I said. "Can we sit here?" they asked. "Of course!" Phil, Alison, Gabriel and I said in unison. They sat across from us. For the rest of that period we all just talked and welcomed PJ and Chris. Dan was no where to be seen, which I'm definitely not complaining about. 

*Timeskip after school* 

Alison had to work and Gabriel had to help his mum out with a few things, so Phil and I just went to my house together. We walked in and grabbed a bag of popcorn. We walked up to my room  and just talked. "I think PJ fancies you" Phil winked. "Doubt it, he's just being nice" I shrugged. Phil just smiled and shook his head. I heard a loud knock on the door. "Emma love, a friend from school wants to see you" my mum called. Friend? I just shrugged and walked downstairs. Dan. Oh god here we go. "Hey Dan" I  fake smiled. "Hey my love, I'd like to talk to you" he smiled back. What a bad actor. "Okay. Excuse us mum" I said and walked out.

 "What do you want Howell?" I asked. "I just wanted to tell you to keep your stupid bodyguards away from me before anyone gets hurt, clear?" he snarled. "I don't have bodyguards, I have friends. Friends are there for me when I need them. Of course you wouldn't know about that since you don't have any" I glared. "I'll have you know, I'm not a pathetic, loser like you are. People actually like me. They don't just pity me" he growled. "I doubt anyone would like you. You think you're everything but you're really not!" I yelled. He grabbed my hair and pulled me closer to him. "Watch it" he yelled back and shoved me. I caught myself from falling. "Whatever" I scoffed and tried to walk back in. He grabbed my hand. "See you at school, if you have the confidence to come" he glared and walked away, taking a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and lighting one. I rolled my eyes and walked in, slamming the door behind me. What a jerk.
