Part 2

*Pickup*

 I walk back to the gym to find Dan with one leg against the wall and a cigarette in his mouth. He dropped the cigarette when he saw me. "You actually showed up. Amazing" he smirked. "What do you want Dan?" I asked, my arms were crossed defensively. He slammed my back against the brick wall. "You think you're tough, do you?" He spat motioning to my arms. I could smell the cigarette in his breath. "N-no" I stuttered. I put my arms by my sides tightly. He pulled my arms from my sides. "Listen, we only have about 10 minutes until we can be considered 'late' and have to go to. So, we will walk in 2 minutes apart so we don't look suspicious, got it? If you tell anyone about what I'm doing to you, I will make your life even more miserable. Understood?" he growled. "Y-Yes sir" I stammered as I looked down. "Smart move" he smiled. "I just have one question if that's okay" I said avoiding eye contact. "You're lucky I'm in a good mood. What?" he asked. 

"Why are you doing this? I don't even know you" I questioned looking him directly in the eye. He slapped me as soon as I finished. "Looks like someone got some confidence" he growled. "S-Sorry" I whispered. "I'm walking in first. Lee won't care if you're late, but for me, it's a different story" he told me. I nodded and waited for what I knew what was about to come. He kicked me down and walked away to get to class. I got up once he left and waited about 2 minutes. Then walked in Mr.Lee's room. "Emma, you're late" Mr.Lee sighed. "Yes sir, I'm aware. Locker trouble" I said as I sat down. "Okay" he said and continued the lesson. 

About 15 minutes later a guy walked in with the headmaster, he was about 17. He looked so familiar, but I couldn't tell where I knew him from. "Hello Class, this is your new classmate Gabriel Mathis"he said. Gabriel waved to everyone. Gabriel? Where have I heard that? UGH. "Everyone please say your first and last names to make him feel welcome. Let's start in the back." Mr.Lee said as the headmaster left. I started. "Uh.. I'm Emma Jacobson" I said looking up. His jaw dropped. "Um I'm guessing you two know each other?" Mr.Lee asked. "Well everyone get to work. Let's let Emma and Gabriel talk" he smiled. I got up and walked up to the front. "E-Emma" he said smiling. "I've missed you so much" I said hugging him. "I've missed you to" he smiled and hugged me back tightly. "Can we go in the corridor for a sec?" I asked. Mr.Lee nodded and we walked out. 

"Oh my god I can't believe you're here!" I exclaimed. "Same to you! I was legitimately thinking about you this morning. You're gorgeous!" He smiled. "Thanks. You're very cute as well. Whats your schedule?" I asked. "After this I have History Sugg,  Science White, Reading Deyes, English Harries, Art Sugg, Gym Harries. Lunch at 12:20" he said. "Awesome we have all classes together except 4 and 5 are swapped. My lunch is at 12:15 but we'll still see each other and be able to sit together. He nodded happily. 

His smile slowly turned into a concerned frown. "What?" I asked nervously. "Your stomach and face. What happened?" he asked. "Uh.." I sighed. "Tell me Emma" he said sternly. "Well" I started. "TheGuyThatWasSittingNextToMeOrDanKindaHurtsMeAllTheTimeButTheresNothingToWorryAboutImFine" I said quickly. "I'm gonna seriously-" he started. "Shhh I'm okay" I explained, nervously looking into the classroom to find Dan glaring at me. "Please don't tell him I told you, he'll kill me" I whispered. He nodded. "Wanna sit next to me in class?" I asked. "Sure!" he said happily.

 We sat down and Dan glared at me. "What?" I scoffed. "Jacobson. Corridor. Now" he growled. without even asking Dan pulled me out. "Who do you think you are?" he asked. "Emma" I smiled. "Confident are we?" he asked. "Yep" I smirked. He was about to say something so I opened the door and walked in. He came in after me and gave me the death stare. I couldn't care less. Anger was burning in his eyes, but once again, I didn't care. I looked over at Gabriel and we put our desks together so we could work together. That class was freaking amazing. I walked to my locker happily and got my history book. Dan opened his locker as I shut mine. "Daniel" I smiled and walked to Ms.Suggs room.

History: I walked in and took my seat next to Phil. "Hey I smiled. "Hey. Who's this?" Phil asks motioning to Gabriel who took the empty seat on my right. "Phil, this is Gabriel. Gabriel, this is Phil. I knew Gabriel when I was 12 at the depression institute. "Oh cool. How did the meet with Dan go?" he asked. "Good. He didn't say much" I lied as I moved my hair out of my face, giving Phil the signal that I'll tell him later. He nodded and Ms. Sugg walked in."Good morning everyone! This is our new student Gabriel Mathis" she said motioning to him. He waved and she told us to go around and say our names.

*After School*

"So do you all want to hang out at my place?" I asked. "Sure" They all replied. We walked to my house. Of course Alison was interrogating Gabriel the entire walk to see if he was trustworthy. We got to my house and I opened the door.
