We Just Fell

It was a long night as all of us were chatting about our life over a cup of tea. I can see that this was making Cherry happy.

Every now and then Nick would look at me with his blue eyes shining. I would always look away because of the feeling I am having.

" I am going to get food. Nick come with me " Mr.Dorotoa said as that made me smile. You can tell over the years, their bond build up .

"Okay spill the details , now " Mrs. Dorotoa said as my eyes widen at the 3 women looking at me.

" What do you mean ?" I asked as Nick's grandma rolled her eyes.She doesn't even look old to be a grandma.

" You and Nick " Cherry said.

" We are just catching up with eachother " I said.

" Your mom told me you guys might of have had a fling today " Mrs.Dorotoa said as my jaw drops. How did they even have time to talk.

" You knew he was coming over" I said as she nodded her head.

" We told eachother we love you and how we miss eachother" I said.

"Awww" Nick's grandma said.

" Are you still mad at him ?" Cherry asked.

"No " I said.

" Are you going to make a move ?" Nick's grandma asked.

" But I don't know if we are ready for a relationship " I said.

"Do you see a future with Nick ?" Cherry asked and my eyes widen.

"Yes " I siad without hesitation.

" So what's stopping you guys from being together ?" Mrs.Dorotoa asked as I shrugged my shoulders.

Nick's P.O.V

"So, pineapple or Ava " My dad said.

"What ?" I asked.

" I said pineapple or guava " My dad said as I stared at him.

" No, you said Ava " I said and he laughs.

"Son, you know me and you never had this talk but I think Ava makes you really happy. I can see by the way you look at her. I know you want her to be the one you marry " My dad said as my eyes widen.

Are we really talking about marriage here?

" Dad , what's your point ?" I said as I pick up Ava's favorite pudding.

" Are you going to make a move so you guys can like pick up where you left off " He asked.

" I am not sure if we are ready for a relationship " I said as we cash the food at the cash register.

We walk back to the hospital with our hands occupied with groceries.

" Well, when will you guys know you are ready ?" My dad asked.

" Well, we just saw eachother after 7 years " I said .

" Okay there are steps to build a relationship back up. Did you guys argued ?" He asked.

"Yes"

" Was there crying involved ?" He asked which made me laugh.

"Yep"

" Was there sayings like I love or miss you" He asked amd I smiled as I can imagine every time Ava said those 3 words to me.

" Did you guys have make up sex ?" My dad asked which make me froze when we came out the elvator.
