Jessie's POV

Danny was quite literally silent all the way home, as soon as we got in my flat he went into our bedroom, I decided to leave him be as he probably needed some relaxing, quiet thinking time with no distractions.

*4 hours later*

I still haven't heard anything from Danny and I was getting worried, dinner was almost ready so he had to come out of there eventually doesn't he? I went to my room and I slowly pushed the door open inch by inch I found him pretty easily but the state I found him in made my heart shatter he looked so small so vulnerable , I steeped closer to him and lifted his chin to look him in the eyes. The eye sockets red raw, as the tears streamed down his damp face, he opened his mouth to say something but I 'shhed' him and he nuzzled into me stifling his sobs. I knew that today's news had made him self conscious but it was okay I mean its not the end of the world right?

*25 minutes later*

We sat eating dinner after I managed to coax him out of the room. The silent tension made me feel uncomfortable as he sat there taking small bites of food washed down with a glass of water. Unspoken words lingered on my tongue but I held myself back in order to not hurt him.

"Jess?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry..."

"It's not your fault babe"

"It is"

"No Dan none of this will ever be your fault"

"But..."

"Shuhhhh it's no ones fault"

"Are you sure?"

"Positive"
