Amber's p.o.v.
My training started in less than ten minutes. Being honest, I was quite looking forward to it. If only it was just me and Ulquiorra. It would have been so good but Grimmjow had to join us. I'm not too sure why but I guess I'll find out soon enough.
"So, where's this training room that Lord Aizen was on about?" I asked as Ulquiorra and I wandered down a hallway.
"It's not much further and by the looks of it, Grimmjow will probably be there already or he'll be late, as usual." He looked back at me with his darting green eyes. His gaze sent a shiver down my spine.
"What's it like?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" He stopped walking and turned towards me.
"To not be human. To be an arrancar." I gazed down the corridor and avoided eye contact with him.
"Well, I don't recall my life as a human. My earliest memory was when I was still a regular hollow. I'm sorry I can't be much help with that." He then turned back and kept on walking.
"Oh. Okay." I started to walk by him. Then, we came to a door. He put his hand on it and slowly pushed it open. When we stepped inside, it looked like a waste land, all I could see was sand, rocks and tall mountains.
"This is the training room. For the next two weeks, we'll be working in here until you can perfect your transformation. For this week, we'll just work on controlling your power and next week, we'll work on perfecting it all. However, since we're just starting today, we'll just take it easy and try to awaken your power without you having to forget about it afterwards like you did when I first met you." Ulquiorra turned around to me and placed his hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry, Amber."
"What for?" I asked.
"For what I need to do to wake your inner arrancar up." He then stepped back and pointed his finger at me. All of a sudden, a light came from the tip of his finger, the light beamed and came straight towards me. My body froze. I didn't know what to do. The light came to my face and from that point, I didn't know what had happened but when the light had went and the smoke had cleared, I looked around and when I looked at Ulquiorra, he seemed shocked.
"Ulquiorra, what's wrong?" I asked.
"I'm just surprised that it happened so quickly. That's all." His hand fell to his side. He then looked passed me. I turned around and saw Grimmjow staring at me.
"Grimmjow. You finally turned up." Ulquiorra said in a serious tone. He's went back to normal now. This isn't the Ulquiorra from last night. This is just his mask that he puts on in front of others.
"Good morning, Grimmjow." I said.
"Wow.." Grimmjow was lost for words.
"What's wrong, Grimmjow?" I asked but he just ignored me and walked over to Ulquiorra. He whispered something to him but I couldn't hear what it was.
"No. She doesn't." Ulquiorra responded to him.
"Hmm. Interesting." Grimmjow looked at me with a smirk on his face. "Let's see how well this goes then." He said.
"What are you on about?" I asked again.
"Look in a mirror. It might help." He put his hands in his pockets and then sat down on one of the rocks.
"You're joking, right.. The only thing around us is rocks and sand." I put my hand on my forehead and looked at my arm. It was white. It looked like I had a shell around my arm. I moved my hand and when I looked at it properly, I had long white fingers. I then looked around the rest of my dody, it looked like I had a whole piece of armor on my body. "What the hell is this?!" I was so confused.
"That is your new form. Would you like to see it properly?" Ulquiorra asked while walking over to me.
"Yes please." He held out his hand for me to take, which I did. He then lead me back down the corridor until we found another door. We walked in and there was a big mirror standing at the end of the room.
"Go ahead." I walked away from Ulquiorra and Grimmjow towards the mirror, when I looked into it to see my reflection, I was shocked by my new form. My body looked like a shell but the shape of my body made me look like a ware-wolf, my mask looked like a wolf's head and I noticed that there was a sword by my waist.
"I look like a dog.." I bowed my head and looked away from my reflection. "Can I change back now?" I asked.
"You can change back whenever you want." Ulquiorra responded.
"And how do I do that?"
"There is a way but at this stage, it's quite dangerous for you." He crossed his arms and looked straight at me.
"Tell me!" I shouted at him. He seemed quite shocked when I did too.
"For crying out loud... Just break your mask with your sword!" Grimmjow shouted back at me.
I looked at my sword and grabbed it. I unsheathed it and placed it by my face. I turned it around so the sharp side of my sword was facing away from me. I hit the back of it off my mask and it smashed apart. The shell like armor faded away and the mask crumbled to the ground. When I looked back in the mirror, I had my sheath on my side and the sword was still in my hand. I was back to normal, however, there was still a part of my mask that was on my face. It was the ears of my mask that were sitting on top of my head. I looked like I was wearing a hair band with fake ears on it but that wasn't the case. I placed my hands on them and they felt like bones. I put my sword away, turned around and walked back to Ulquiorra and Grimmjow. I walked straight past them both and started to walk down the corridor back to my room.
"And where do you think you're going?" I heard Grimmjow call to me. I stopped in my tracks and turned to them both with disgust written all over my face.
"I'm going back to my room. Training is finished for today." I said in a serious tone.
"What?!" Grimmjow yelled at me and then flash stepped in front of me. "Training has just started!" He grabbed me by my clothing and started shouting at me. "Now get back in there and continue what you started!" I grabbed his arm and threw him into the wall.
"I said, training is finished." I looked at him coldly so he knew I was serious. "Now leave me be." I let him go and continued walking. I didn't want to be disturbed since I was so mad about my form and now that I had a part of my mask permanently on my head, I really wasn't happy..
