Amber's p.o.v.
I finally woke up to see that I was in a hospital ward. I sat up and looked around. There was a cup of water on the table beside me so I grabbed it and started to drink it.
"Good. You're finally awake."
"Grimmjow. What happened?" I asked as he walked over to my bed.
"When we got to your room, Ulquiorra put you in your bed and a few minutes later, you woke up but it looked like you couldn't breathe. He brought you here and I went to get the doctor. By the time we got here, you were doing better but Ulquiorra said you had a weak pulse when I was gone. When the doctor examined you, he said that you had some what of a stroke. He also said that you need to stay hydrated and to get some rest for a few days." He said as he sat down beside me.
"Oh. I see. Wait, where's Ulquiorra?" I asked.
"He's in his room. He was given a mission the other day and when he finishes a mission, he always goes back to his room to rest for a few hours. He should be waking up soon."
"Okay. Have I missed anything?"
"Well, we had a meeting the other day but it's nothing for you to worry about and you've been asleep for three days. Besides that, nothing new has happened." He said as he rested against the back of the chair.
"Alright then. I should get some rest. I'm feeling a little light headed." I said as I lay down.
"Ok. I'll come back when Ulquiorra-" He was cut off by a knocking at the door.
"Who's there?" Grimmjow stood up and walked over to the door.
"It's me. Can I come in?" The voice asked. I didn't know who it was so I couldn't say anything to him.
"Oh. Sure." Grimmjow then sat down and a man with dark brown hair walked in. I mistook him for Shunsui but I didn't say anything.
"It's good to see you're awake." He said as he walked over to me.
"Er, thanks." I spoke quietly.
"Oh. You don't know who I am, do you?" He asked.
"No. Sorry."
"It's alright. I'm Coyote Starrk. It's a pleasure to meet you." He then bowed and gave me a little smile.
"The pleasure's all mine, Mr Starrk." I smiled back at him.
"Just call me Starrk. I've never really liked my first name and it just sounds weird being called 'mr'." I laughed a little bit.
"Okay, Starrk." I smiled.
"So, are you feeling better?" He asked as he came over to the other side of my bed and sat beside me.
"I'm feeling a little light headed but that's all."
"Well you better get some rest." He said.
"I've been asleep for three days. I think I've had enough rest for a while." I said as he felt my forehead to see if I had a temperature.
"Fair enough." He laughed a bit.
"Are you the doctor or something?" I asked.
"I don't have much work to do as an Espada so I chose to run the medical clinic to pass the time. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of people getting ill around here so I still don't do much." He then walked over to a cabinet and started to rummage through it.
"You're an Espada too?" I was quite shocked.
"Yeah. Is there something wrong with that?" He asked with a sarcastic tone.
"No! I didn't mean it like that." I said quite quickly.
"Idiot..." Grimmjow made a snarky comment.
"I didn't mean it that way. Sorry. I mean that everyone who I have met around here is an Espada, expect Lord Aizen and the guards." I said.
"Well, being honest, it's better to meet the Espada really. The other arrancars can be really annoying and stuck up like a stroppy teenage girl." I laughed at his comment because I knew what they were like.
"So, I'm better off not knowing them then." I responded.
"Truthfully, yes. Even Grimmjow will agree with me, right?" He looked over at Grimmjow who was in a daze.
"Hmm? Yeah, sure." He responded while realizing what Starrk had just said.
"If you don't mind me asking, what rank are you?" I asked shyly.
"I'm Espada number one." He said it so calmly like he knew I would ask that.
"Wow! That's amazing! So you're the strongest out of all the Espadas?" I asked out of curiosity.
"For now I am. There could be a change soon. You never know what the future could hold. Ah! Here it is." He then closed the cabinet and walked over to me.
"What's that?" I asked him.
"It's a thermometer. It's just to take your temperature so say ah." He then put the thermometer by my mouth.
"Ah!" I opened my mouth and he put the thermometer under my tongue.
"Just leave that there for a few minutes and then we'll see how your fever is." He then sat down by my bed and waited. After a few minutes had past, he stood up and took the thermometer out of my mouth.
"Grimmjow." I turned to him and he looked at me.
"What?" He snapped.
"I'm not saying this in a rude way but how come you're still here?" I asked in the most polite way I could think of but it didn't work.
"So what, you'd prefer me not to be here?" He snapped at me again.
"No. I didn't mean it like that!" I snapped back at him
"I'll leave if you want me to." He stood up and walked over to the door.
"I didn't mean it like that you idiot!" I yelled at him and threw my pillow at him.
"Uh-oh. You're in for it now." Starrk laughed as the look on my face became even more worried than what it should have been. I turned back to Grimmjow and he was standing over me like a giant.
"Did you really just hit me with a pillow?" He spoke with such frustration in his voice.
"I-I'm sorry...." I really didn't like where this was going.
"You're sorry...." He then raised his arm with the pillow in his hand and smashed it across my face.
"I didn't hit you that hard." I put my hand over where he had hit me and started to cry a little.
"Oh... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to hit you that hard..." I then grabbed hold of the other pillow on my bed and hit him back.
"You sneaky little..."
So basically, I've started a pillow fight with one of the meanest guys within the Espada. I have no idea how that works but alright.
