Chapter 46

"Hey!" I heard a voice yell and loud bangs coming from my door. I stood up, ran over to it and opened it to find Nnoitra standing at my door. "Are you coming or not?!" He yelled.

"If you keep shouting at me then no!" I yelled back.

"Treat her with respect." I looked to the right of Nnoitra to see Szayel standing behind him. "After all, she is higher than you. She could kick your butt if you're not careful." He smirked.

"What do you want? I was sleeping." I yawned.

"We're going to see Lord Aizen about the mission. Care to join us?" Szayel asked.

"Sure." I sighed as I turned back to see Ulquiorra still asleep. "Give me a second." I then walked away from Nnoitra, leaving the door open, and headed straight for the bed. I sat down and stroked Ulquiorra's head. "I'll be back soon." I whispered.

"W-what are you doing?" Nnoitra questioned, peeking into my room. I stood up, walked over to him and kicked him against the wall. I closed the door and peered at him. "W-what the hell was that for?!" He yelled.

"Who gave you permission to look into my room?" I growled.

"I-I was just... curious.." He mumbled.

"Well, next time you're curious ask for permission." I said as I put my hands in my pockets and returned back to normal. "Shall we go?" I asked Szayel, who was smirking at Nnoitra.

"Yes, let's go." He said as we both started to walk away from Nnoitra.

"Hey! Don't leave me here!" Nnoitra yelled.

"Well get up and start walking." I growled as he stood up and ran towards us. We finally got to Aizen's room and Szayel knocked first.

"Come in." We pushed the door open to see Aizen sitting on his bed. "Ah. Hello Amber, Szayel, Nnoritora." He smirked at us.

"Hello, Lord Aizen." We all said while bowing.

"We're here to collect the information for our trip to the world of the living." Szayel explained.

"Ah yes. There are rogue hollow spirits which are going to be travelling through Karakura town so I know the soul reapers will be involved in getting rid of them so I want you three to go and investigate them to see which soul reapers are there. If you run into them, you have permission to fight them if they attack you first but if they don't know you're there then just observe. I'll give you instructions to when you're allowed to return." Aizen explained while drinking some tea. "Oh, and while you're there, can you get some milk and sugar?"

"Erm, what for, my lord?" Szayel asked, confused to his request.

"Is it for your tea?" I questioned.

"Yes. After my last visit and I had tea from your mother, it just doesn't taste the same." He sighed, sounding disappointed.

"I thought so.." I sighed. "Alright. I'll get some while we're there."

"Good. You may leave in ten minutes." He said as he took a sip of his tea again. We all bowed and walked out of his room.

"He had tea from your mother?" Nnoitra questioned.

"Yeah.. We visited the world of the living so I could say good bye to my family and friends and my mother ended up giving him tea." I sighed. "I guess he prefers it more now with tea and sugar than without it." We finally got to my room.

"Where are you going?" Nnoitra asked as I pushed the door open.

"My room." I mumbled.

"We're leaving soon and you don't need anything so what's the point?" He questioned, sounding a bit annoyed.

"Shut up.." I sighed before walking into my room and seeing Ulquiorra lying on my bed still.

"You're back." He said as he sat up. "Why are they here?" His voice changed back to what it usually is when he's around others: monotone. I turned to see Nnoitra and Szayel peering into my room.

"We're going on the mission now so I came to say good bye, and to grab my zanpakto." I said as I picked up Maliki and attached it to the sash around my waist.

"You're going now?" Ulquiorra questioned as he walked over to me.

"Yeah. Lord Aizen said we'd be gone for a few days and to bring back some milk and sugar." I sighed in embarrassment.

"Why does he need milk and sugar?"

"Because he prefers it after my mother put milk and sugar in his tea." I said while rubbing my temples.

"Ah. Well, it does taste better with milk." He said in agreement.

"You drank it too?" Nnoitra questioned.

"Yes."

"Will you leave already?!" I yelled at him and Szayel, which sent them running from my room. "God they're annoying."

"Yeah." Ulquiorra sighed. "But now that they're gone, I can do this." I looked up at him before he quickly cupped my face with his hands and kissed me. I accepted it as his hands moved, one on my waist and the other running through my hair. I put my arms around his neck before we parted.

"What was that for?" I questioned while blushing.

"Just something I wanted to do before you left. Think of it as a way of me saying good bye." He said as he hugged me properly.

"Well, if you're going to kiss me like that when I have to leave, I might ask for more missions to the world of the living." I giggled to myself.

"If you want more, all you have to do is ask." He smirked as he moved his head for me to look at him.

"Alright, I will." He then moved his head closer to mine, about to kiss me but, I moved before I did. "But not right now. You'll have to wait until I get back." I winked at him as I walked towards my door.

"You can be such a tease." He sighed.

"I know." I giggled before walking out of my room with him. "I'll see you when I get back." I waved at him as he walked away from my room. I turned to be face to face with Gin. "H-hello, Gin." I mumbled.

"I haven't been kissed like that for ages." He sighed, slightly frowning. "Care to help me with that?" He questioned, a smirk rising on his lips before his arms slunk around my waist.

"Erm, not to be rude, but no. I'd rather not." I said as I pushed him away.

"Don't worry, Amber-chan. I see you as a little sister so I wouldn't do anything like that." He laughed before walking past me. "Good luck in the world of the living."

"Thanks.." I grumbled before running off to find Nnoitra and Szayel, to which they were by the throne room.

"Where the hell have you been?!" Nnoitra yelled.

"My room, as I said before. Don't you pay any attention?!" I yelled.

"Stop arguing and let's go already." Szayel sighed while raising his glasses.

"Yeah." I sighed as he opened a garganta.
