Chapter 39

We walked into the living room and we all sat down on the couch. There was two couches. A three seater and a two seater. I sat in the middle of the three seater and my mum sat to the right of me. Ulquiorra, Grimmjow and Lord Aizen looked quite uncomfortable so they just stood up.

"You can sit down..." I murmured to them. They then looked for where to sit and, finally, moved. Ulquiorra sat next to me, Grimmjow and Lord Aizen sat on the other couch.

"So, care to introduce your friends?" My mum asked me.

"Oh, yeah. Well, you already know Ulquiorra." I said.

"Oh yes. Hello again." She smiled at him and he nodded.

"The one on the left is Grimmjow and the one on the right is Lord Aizen." I then realized what I had said and my mum gasped.

"A Lord?! It's a pleasure to meet you." She smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Please. There's no need for that, Amber. Just call me Sosuke." He said.

"Alright then." My mum smiled and then gasped. "Oh! I better go get your sister." She then stood up and ran upstairs.

"I am so sorry Lord Aizen." I sighed.

"It's ok, Amber." I looked up and he just smiled at me. "Tell me about your sister."

"Oh. Well, her name is Beccy and she'll be turning 8 in March. We don't really get along well but since she's only a child, I have to be nice to her." I sighed.

"Hmm. And what about your mum?" He asked.

"Her name is Krista and she's almost 38. She works in the cafeteria at the hospital up the road from us. It's not the best of jobs, she always comes home smelling of food she's been serving or coffee. Sometimes it's a mixture of both." I laughed.

"That doesn't sound nice." Lord Aizen laughed a bit. "What about your father?"

"Mark. He's works in a factory and he'll be turning 42 this year. There's nothing much to say about my family, they're not that interesting really." I sighed and I heard my mum speaking from upstairs.

"Alright, keep your eyes closed and don't open them until I tell you to." I heard her speak.

"Here we go then." I sighed. I then saw my mum and Beccy coming down the stairs. My mum pushed the door open and they both walked in.

"Ok, open your eyes Beccy." She then opened her eyes and, as soon as she saw me, they filled with tears. She ran towards me and hugged me.

"Amber!" She wailed.

"It's good to see you too, Beccy." I smiled as I held her in my arms and she cried.

"So this is your sister." Lord Aizen said in a calm voice.

"Yeah. This is her." I smiled as she moved to look at Lord Aizen.

"Who are you?" She asked.

"I'm a friend of your sisters. Call me Sosuke." He smiled at her as she stood up and looked around. She didn't realize that there wasn't just me sitting down.

"Are these people your friends?" She asked me.

"Yeah. Sosuke has already introduced himself, this is Ulquiorra and that's Grimmjow." I sighed.

"Huh. They've got funny names." She said, calmly.

"Beccy!" My mum gasped at what she said and Lord Aizen just laughed.

"L-Lord Aizen?" I was confused.

"I guess she's right. We do have funny names." He smiled at her and she smiled back.
