Chapter 18- Undyne...? Alphys...?

"Come on sans!! Let's go play!!" a voice yelped the figure bouncing up and down

''HEY!! WAIT UP!!!" his voice echoed a younger version of his voice running after the shady figure

"Come on bone brain we want you to see the ruins" another voice echoed even tho it seemed more familiar than the other one

"COME ON SANS!!!" another voice echoed a more familiar voice. It was a younger version of papyrus

Then a small giggle followed a sweet girl voice

"Oh... hey tori... you coming..." his younger voice asked

"of course!" she giggled a small purple blush appearing his own skull blushing blue

"I am to." a deep voice rumbled even if it was just a kid the voice oddly familiar to

"Enough dilly dallying let's go!!!" the younger light male voice said the shadows, sans and toriel faded back to black

A memory.....

*stop music.... if you want.... I'm not here to boss you around..... I'll go..*

"D-do you think he's...."

".....better be! I risked......on saving him...."

"He's.... O-out for a while...."

"Hey wait! He's waking up!"

Sans groaned lightly the voices coming in fuzzy as he slowly opened one eye is head spinning hard seeing what looked like a house, a smaller yellow and white figure and a tall blue figure.

"Who....? where am I....?" he mumbled making out his muzzle. Oh great they probably can't understand him

"I-I'm guessing you wondering w-where you are. W-well-" the yellow figure started shifting

"I SAVED YOUR LIFE PUNK!!!" undyne butted in proudly sans flinching shrinking as he felt his ears ring

"U-uh y-yea w-we were walking t-though waterfall w-when we saw you f-fall..." she mumbled nervously

"And I dived down to save you FU HA HA!!!" undyne yelled proudly with a big toothy grin

"U-undyne..." she mumbled

"Oh yea sorry punk I thought you were gonna die." she said lowering her voice to sans liking sighing closing his eyes back feeling his head settle but he still felt really weak and he couldn't fell one of his front paws and leg for some reason

"Y-you broke you leg d-during the fall a-and you cracked your s-skull b-but everything else s-seems fine" alphys mumbled worriedly sans grunting opening his eyes again to see his leg was wrapped up and he couldn't see out of one eye to another bandage.

Sans groaned slightly hoping toriel and papyrus was fine "pap...? Tori...?" he croaked out looking up at alphys

"U-uh huh...?" she asked trying to think of a way to understand him

Sans huffed 'stupid GB (gaster blaster) form' he thought his tail twitching for a second

"W-well are you hungry o-or thirsty? U-um... one bark for hungry and two f-for thirsty o-or three for both" she said deciding that's one way how to do it

Sans grumbled he did feel quite hungry and thirsty making him wonder how long he really was out. He just lightly barked three times alphys scrambling away with undyne he trying to remember what happened before he got here but his mind was stuck.....

Wait... who where pap and tori again? He.... couldn't remember.... he blinked a few times trying to remember.... Maybe that crack in his skull was more than just a crack in his skull.....

Alphys came back with two bowls one filled with water and one filled with dog food setting them down on the ground sans sniffing at the dog food with a growl before shaking his head drinking from the water bowl

"O-oh sorry hang on!" alphys said rushing off with the food bowl coming back with some headed up canned spaghetti it wasn't the best but it was better than dog food.

He grabbed the can with his muzzle lifting it up wrapping his good paw around it before gulping it down quickly. It was quite.... Unique, it reminding him if something else but he just pushed it to the side eating the substance licking out every bit before licking his lips placing the can back on the floor closing his eyes back.

"W-well um d-do you live with anyone or... anything?" alphys asked worried sans trying to think back but it was all fuzzy he remembering something but other than that no...

he shook his head getting an even more worried look from alphys

"S-so you live alone?" she asked sans trying to tell her he.... Couldn't remember alphys looking at him confused for a second before it clicked

"O-oh y-you don't remember?" she asked sans nodding his head alphys trying to think of how to get his memories back "h-hold on real quick" she said rushing off sans shrugging laying his head on the couch closing his eyes almost drifting off till alphys came back

"T-this might help me understand you I-I made it uh... j-just in case" she said putting the plug in her ear attaching something to sanses neck before looking at him to speak he grumbling sitting his head back up with a yawn

"Hello?" he asked alphys lighting up

"It worked!!!! I-I mean of course it would work" she smiled nervously before shaking her head "a-anyway do you remember anything about your past self?"

"A-all I really remember is.... The names toriel and papyrus..." he mumbled thinking hard "and..........gaster...." he mumbled for some reason flinching at the name even if he wasn't scared of the name.

He suddenly felt kinda sad he looking away with a sigh looking down feeling his soul ache alphys getting worried before changing the subject

"A-ah...w-well I'll let you r-rest t-then and I'll look around for those people." she mumbled walking away too talk with undyne the thought in her head. "Does he know the queen...?" no he couldn't but.... It sure sounded like it she going over to undyne telling her to start looking, looking back at sans worriedly as he sat his head down drifting off

"C-curious...." she mumbled before walking off to investigate to see if he could find these people hoping that... she could...
