Being a Brooks *editing*

Chapter 6 :)

I woke up and Luke was still next to me. I got up trying not to wake him and walked to the bathroom. I looked terrible. I had red, puffy eyes, really messed up hair and I felt gross. I decided to have a shower. I washed my hair and shaved everywhere and then got out.

I walked back into my room. Luke wasn't there so he must have gotten up. I got changed into my grey skinny jeans, my blue and white striped top and my light blue vans. I decided to paint my nails as well. I did them a light blue colour. I then went and straightened my hair and put some make up. I thought I looked pretty good, but I felt like I was missing something. I walked into Beau's room and grabbed his grey and blue snapback. I felt complete.

I walked down stairs and grabbed some breakfast. No one was home from what I could see until I heard a sleepy Jai walk down the stairs.

"Hey Jai boy" I said to him.

"Morning Bella B" he said back as he went and sat on the couch. I decided to be nice and make him some toast.

I walked into the lounge room with my toast and gave Jai his.

"Awe Thanks baby sis!" he said to me with a big smile.

"No worries big bro!" I said beamingly.

"Why you in such a good mood this morning?" he asked acting as if it were some sort of crime.

"Um, I don't know. Maybe it's because it's my last day of being 14! And because I'm going out today with Jess" I replied with a smile. He nodded and continued eating his toast.

Once I finished my breakfast I looked at the time and saw it was 10:00. I decided I should text Jessica and see if she was up and ready.

Isabella: Hey babe, you awake and ready to go out? x

JeSs Is ThE bEsT <3: Yep sure am meet at my place? x

Isabella: Yep, Be there in 20 :) x

"JAI, CAN I BORROW YOUR PENNY BOARD? PLEASE? I NEED IT" I screamed downstairs to Jai. I really did need his penny board because mine was broken and he just got a new one.

"YEA, OKAY, BE CAREFUL WITH IT THOUGH! IT'S NEW REMEMBER" he yelled back. I ran into his room and grabbed his blue penny.

I walked back into my room and grabbed my white strap bag and put my phone and my wallet in. I went and got Beau's snapback and put it on again and got my blue sunnies. It was a nice day outside so I thought I should ride the penny since it was so nice. I walked downstairs and said goodbye to Jai. As I was leaving I saw a note on the table near the door.

Dear Isabella and Jai,

Luke and I have gone to Skips for the day and we're going out from there if you need us just call us. Btw Jai, call us as soon as you get this note :)

I passed Jai the note and walked out the door. I put the penny on the ground and started riding. I got to Jess's house in no time. It was only a 6 minute walk to Jess's from my house so it wouldn't take that long. I rang the doorbell and her Mum answered.
