A/n: C'mon guys! Where those questions be?

You felt the light brush of feather tips against your own as you and the flock made your way back to your temporary cave. You felt Angels' calming thoughts in your own. It was tough, seeing someone, a grown man even, break down like that, and then just.. die.

You've seen it before. In the hospitals. Experiments that were just abandoned. Dumped into the cage next to yours. You heard their whimpers, their screams. It didn't ever get easier. You had all pitched in to dig a shallow grave for the man in the nearest abandoned area you found.

"Hey. How're you doing?" Iggy's soft voice pulled you back into the present, with the wind pressing your hair and clothes flat as you flew.

"Fine." You weren't lying, per se, but you weren't telling the whole truth. You weren't screaming your head off, so that was something.

"I know its hard, seeing something like that." Iggy said, and you just nodded, the harsh wind drying the tears in your eyes before they could fall.

"Alright everyone, Let's get some sleep. I'll take first watch tonight." Max said.

"I'll help! I still want to hear all the juicy details of the mission that I couldn't go on!" Total said, still salty from being left behind. Max gave Fang an uncomfortable look and sat down at the mouth of the cave.

You settled down as best as you could on the hard, rocky ground, and closed your eyes.

"Wake up!" You felt a shock in your side and your eyes flew open as you were pulled violently from your sleep. Bright white light blinded you for a couple seconds until your eyes adjusted and you looked around, confused. What you saw made your heart stop. Scientists. You were back at the hospital. 'The School', as the flock called it.

You struggled against your bindings as you frantically glanced around at the room. Where was the flock?

"Did you have a nice little dream, freak?" One of the scientists asked, making the others laugh.

You were sweating in the white surgery gown you were wearing. 'What is happening?' You felt another, stronger shock in your side. "I asked you a question!" The scientist told you. "Did you have. a nice dream?" He asked again.

'Dream? It was all a dream?' Panic and anxiety filled your chest and you cried out as you were shocked again.

"(Y/n). Wake up!" You were jostled from your sleep by Iggy, who looked worried. "Are you OK? You yelled in your sleep!"

You looked around at your surroundings. The cave, the flock, Total asleep at Angels side. It took you a moment to register what had just happened and the memory of the nightmare came flooding back to you and you choked back a sob, putting your hand to your mouth.

Iggy understood at once. "I have those dreams too." He sat down next to you and wrapped his arms around your shoulders. You leaned into him and tried to control your frantic breathing. "You're sweating." He commented. You apologized, but he just shook his head. "It's alright. You can go back to sleep. I'll be here." He pulled you back down, arms still around you. "It's ok."
