^!!LOOK AT THAT!!^
!!!!^^^^!!!!
Dylan. You've heard Max say that name before, but you thought who she was talking about was dead!
"I'm going to get you out of here but I need you to trust me. Here, look." Dylan glanced at the door to make sure no one was looking in and lifted the back of his shirt, extending his wings. You gasped and stared. "I'm one of you, see?" Folding his wings back in, he applied medicine to your cuts and told you that he was in contact with Max a week ago and she needed his help finding you. "You've been a pain in the neck to find-"
"How long have I been here?" You cut in.
Dylan glanced up at you. "About 5 months.."
'5 months...thats almost half a year!' "Where are we? Why was I so hard to find?" You asked.
"We're in Antarctica, deep underground. There, that should do it." Dylan said, putting the supplies back in the kit. "Now, getting out of here is going to be difficult but-"
"Where's Iggy?" You butted in again, "And the flock?" You added, shyly.
Dylan gave you a sideways glance. "They're actually on their way here. They should be here in about an hour, so we need to get you read-" A banging on the door cut Dylan's sentence off.
"Hey! Open up!" A voice demanded from the other side.
"Get ready. You might have to fight." Dylan warned you as he went to open the door.
Dr. Milligan stepped in and angrily surveyed the room. Seeing that you were still there, he relaxed a bit. "Will you be.. staying long?" He asked Dylan.
"Just for a few days at the most." Dylan lied easily, smiling.
Milligan gazed at him steadily, trying to see a flaw in Dylan. Not being able to find anything, he turned to you. "Let's go. We have more tests to do." Looking back at Dylan, he added. "You cannot come. I will show you to your temporary room."
Dylan looked over his shoulder, his eyes seeming to say 'stay strong'.

Running through mazes, being injected with serums. Being shocked, poked, and beaten, you couldn't take much more. You're sure you passed out a couple times already, and you started to wonder why Dylan was here, if not to keep you from being tortured. Why wasn't he stopping this?
Maybe he was just here as another method of torture.
It must have been another half hour later when you paused, hearing a commotion somewhere to your left. You were in a maze, and therefore, very disoriented. You received a sudden, strong shock from a collar around your neck. Starting to run again, you listened intently. You refused to get your hopes up.
"(Y/n)!?" A voice called your name. You looked in the direction you thought the voice was coming from, and started to run faster.
"I'm here!" You called back, desperate now. A shadow loomed over you and Max landed next to you. Unlocking the shock collar from around your neck, she grabbed your hand and jumped into the air.
You whipped out your wings, gasping at the pain it brought, but gritted your teeth through it. You were finally getting out.
"Through here!" Max said, landing and leading you through a door. The lights went out and an alarm started blaring, the halls lighting up in a menacing red glow. Your stomach knotted as you heard guards rushing towards you. Letting go of your hand, Max rushed the guards, taking two out with a swift kick.
You screamed as figures rushed past you and two of them grabbed your arms. Thrashing around, you knocked one of them loose. "Hey! (Y/n) wait it's me!" You stopped fighting them. Iggy and Fang. "Let's go, we gotta get you out of here! Max and the kids will take care of the guards."
They led you down a series of halls, the red lights strobing on and off. The adrenaline keeping your legs moving, even though you could no longer feel them.
You burst through the exit door and-
"Stop right there!" Ten guards with ten guns trained on you, Iggy, and Fang.
