Chapter 15: Golden Week

Nagisa's POV

"Okay, everyone!" Fujisaki-sensei said. "Do you know what day it will be next week?" She asked.

"Monday!" A boy, Hanamura-kun said as he lifted his hand up.

The class started laughing.

"I know that it'll be Monday!" Fujisaki-sensei told him. "What event is it?"

A girl, Tanimura-san, raised her hand and answered, "It'll be the 29th of April, Golden Week."

"That's right!" Fujisaki-sensei smiled. "We are going to celebrate Emperor Showa's birthday. But I'm sure you all know that already."

She continued, "You all have the next week off. Enjoy your holiday!"

The class all cheered.

"Take care of yourselves, and don't do anything too extreme." She said.

The bell rang. "Krrriiing!!"

"Okay everyone, class dismissed!"

We all started packing our bags, feeling happy and excited for Golden Week. I myself was also excited.

Chiyuki-chan and Arisa-chan approached me.

"Hey, hey, what're you guys gonna do?" Arisa-chan asked us while putting her hand on my desk.

"Maybe I'll finally finish playing that one game!!" Chiyuki-chan clenched her hands and blushed.

Me and Arisa-chan sweat dropped.

Arisa-chan turned to me, "What about you, Nagisa-chan?"

I answered her, "I don't really know yet."

I never actually plan these things. Usually Karma will show up from my window when I least expect it and then I'll have something to do.

"Probably something productive, unlike you, Tanaka!" Sasahara-kun appeared out of nowhere.

Arisa-chan turned her head, "Hey!! I do do productive things!!" She screamed at him, getting angry.

"Like staying in your room eating chips all day?" He smirked.

"Wha-" Arisa-chan said. "I don't do that!!" She started hitting Sasahara-kun repeatedly.

I sweat dropped. "What are you gonna do, Sasahara-kun?" I asked him.

"Me? I'm gonna play baseball with the others." He replied. "See, that's productive!"

Arisa-chan turned her back and walked, "Whatever!" She pouted. "C'mon Nagisa-chan, Yuki-chan!"

We smiled at her and then followed her.

We walked outside of school, going forward.

The trees were still pink, filling the ground with their petals. I could smell the spring air.

While we were walking, Sasahara-kun stopped and said, "Well, I'm going this way." He pointed to the left.

"Okay." I said.

"See ya!" He waved at us. Then he went.

The three of us continued walking.

Arisa-chan said, "Are you going on a date with Akabane-kun, Nagisa-chan?" She asked as she pedaled.

I looked at her, "A date? I don't really know yet. And besides, we just went on one recently." I thought about the hike.

"Are you planning anything?" Chiyuki-chan looked at me.
